Bought Moto G Global GSM in US and the cost is 199$ + 13$ (tax) = 212$ equals 13k - Better deal for Indians if they buy from US.

The one thing I hate about this phone is the Dialer. It has got to be the ugliest looking thing I have ever seen. When a call comes in it crops the contacts photo so that only the very top of their head is showing, which defeats the point of having a photo ID.
Unfortunately, because of Android 4.3, you can't change the default dialer to any 3rd party app, you always get that ugly answering screen when a call comes in.
Surely Motorola could have come up with a better looking dialer than this ugly looking monstrosity.

Audio quality:
Cranking up its volume to the max, its audio quality is nothing more than average, but we do notice some crackling and strained tones – making it sound a bit irritating to the ear sometimes.
Call quality:
Right away, our ears notice some evidence of noise emitted by its earpiece, which is accompanied with hollow sounding voice. Switching to the speakerphone, it produces some crackling at the loudest volume setting.

Without a micro SD slot and a removable battery, it has no chance in the world to me - not even if given for free.

Both have the same GSM band (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz), but the global is UMTS/HSPA+ 850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz work in Movistar, Movinet and Digitel (3G for all). US version is UMTS/HSPA+ 850, 1700 (AWS), 1900 MHz (only Movistar and Movilnet 3G)

Motorola compressed the picture too much. I hope Moto fix it in kitkat update.

If you own this phone then you will have found out by now that the camera is pretty poor. I have found the Google Camera app for the Galaxy S4 Google Edition which works fine on this phone and is a vast improvement.
When you install it you will find new Camera and Gallery icons in the app drawer. Unfortunately, they look identical to the ones already there (they are both Google apps), but you will soon identify which is which.
If you do install the app then you will find the Settings on the screen when you load it; just hold down on the screen for the menu(s).
