If you don't wanna s... moreWell I`ve tried almost every phone on this planet to find one with the following specs , long battery life , 4.3 jellybean pure android soon to be kitkit before any of the others even get a whiff of it ,LED notification light , great speaker front and rear , high end screen , great wifi and 3g signal , fits in the hand well without being to big like the s3/s4 etc etc and I have to say that the Moto G does all of the mentioned 100% !I can`t believe that a phone that costs just £130. sim free can give all of this so why the heck may we ask does it cost 3 x this amount £400 - £600 for other phones that simply can not give what the Moto G can deliver ?Google and Motorola really have done a fantastic job of this phone indeed .Ok so it`s only got 8gb of internal ( there is a 16gb variant as well ) storage well so what simply use cloud or drop box, google storage etc etc and the rear camera is 5mp well big deal as it still delivers great pics so no probs there !All in all I`m very pleased indeed with the the Moto G and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great 4.5" pure android phone that ticks all the right boxes 100% .Thank you...MaxsoundCarAudio Uk

If you don't wanna s... moreactually people jumping up and down about the power of nexus 5's hardware will be disappointed withing a few months when SoC manufacturers come up with even better hardware, rendering their device useless(not literally I mean). So use a device with lower cost but enjoy the latest software perks and change it within 1 yr, thats my opinion..

The Moto G targeted Teenagers and people that not use the phone so much for storing a lot of files.
Did anyone notice.. After the launch of Moto G,all leaks of Nokia Lumia 525 vanished......hahahahahhhhhaaahhaaaa...lolz
CarlOps, 22 Nov 2013'Motorola brand is unreliable'??? Where did you get that from? Their quality is actually very ... moreExactly. I'm a Nokia user now but before that I was using Motorola, and man, they are built to last, just like Nokia. 3 out of 4 Motorolas I have still work, that includes original batteries, one just needs a new flat cable. My friend has a Droid RAZR and he's praising its robustness too.
By the way, if anyone needs the wallpaper from Moto G, get it here: http://www.zedge.net/wallpaper/10089919/moto-g/

Their quality is actually very good. I have a Defy and it is very well built and for a phone that's almost 3 years old it performs great!

confused, 22 Nov 2013Huawei Ascend G510 only 70pounds, even cheaper so confused what to get same size screen. No contest! Moto G beats any phone all the way up to £180!

Sri, 21 Nov 2013I think it has replaceable back panel .. I think its a replaceable battery,,Moto G comes with a removable back cover, which gives you an option of flexibility of changing the back panel colors, however the battery is non removable. Battery at best may last for a full day of medium use.
dannykoh, 21 Nov 2013Quadcore doesn't necessarily beat out dual core processors. Look at the iphone 5s for instance... moreI agree..
perhaps they should squeeze any possibilities for dual cores, because so far the other 2 cores in a quad core chip is not much of a use, and still consumes more energy compared to a dual-core ones..
this seems that moto exhibit techsagerate rather than technovation hehe
(issue in regards to processor only)
Droid Ghost, 21 Nov 2013How much is the Nexus 5 compare to Moto G16gb moto g £160 I think and nexus 5 16gb £299 I think - so 3times the performance for less than twice the size is worth it in my eyes! Anyway ive just said some good things about the moto so there's nothing more I can say till gsm arena reviews it properly!
Droid Ghost, 21 Nov 2013Nexus 5 is completly better then Moto G but the Moto G prices are best compare to any phone in... moreExactly! Im just trying to tell people not to get this phone instead of a high end device they may have been getting! For a time I was thinking of getting moto g to replace my xperia T but - no sd card is a minus, motorola brand is unreliable - a bit like the fiat of mobiles and the single core performance is worse. And before anyone comments - yes I know its quadcore - BUT very rarely do all the cores run at the same time! Also quote me if im wrong but there's no 1080p video recording? Im no moto g hater and im all for the specs at that price - ive said enough negative stuff so here's the plus side of the moto -
720p screen with unrivalled 329ppi in class
5mp camera with 720p video - many samsung and lg dont offer this feature at similar price
Despite being 11mm thick it doesnt feel that thick
Unmatched quadcore performance , with all cores in action benchmark just beats nexus 4 despite being not as powerful!
Adreno 305 far better than adreno 200/203 and 205 that many low android and windows have offered!
Display is bright and has deeper blacks than nexus 5
Runs Asphalt 8 glitch free due to the modern gpu!
Has android 4.3 which many phones still dont have and promised 4.4 kitkat in january
Pure android experience - meaning that more of the 1gb ram should be available!
And finally - changable back covers with different colour options - no need for a tatty hard back case just to change the look of your phone and spoil its looks!
