If you see the Indian market trends, then you'll feel that Google is missing out something :
1. Dual sim support
2. MicroSD card slot.
Now to cope with this, the pricing has to be very attractive or else this phone won't see much sales.
8GB version should have a launch price below INR 9500 ($150)
16GB Version should have a lauch price below INR 12000, then it will sell like hot cakes.
IMHO 8GB version shouldn't exist at all if there is no expansion capability is there.
Raja, 14 Nov 2013Waiting for this phone. A thanks from india to motorola.yup!me too!
Thanks Motorola after a long time, good keep it up. Expecting more handsets from you in 2014.
unbiased, 14 Nov 2013i wonder how much it costs them to put a memory card slot in device¡!!!!!!!!!!The cost is you will store everything in memory card and dont use google drive and dont use youtube frequently and most importantly you need not have a data pack regularly(use google)
Lucho, 14 Nov 2013 It's a shame that they do what Motorola phones phones become very low level: no SD card, no ... moreI havent know is there any real use with nfc in india(developing country) and i dont care for stereo fm radio if the same costs $161 more you cannot comment on sunlight readability without seeing the phone cause moto g has edge to edge screen and though if it has poor sunlight readibility i dont care cause i have used my phone under sun very less and i can increase brightness cause moto g has great battery life. I dont know why people buy costly phones with out battery life
Aman99, 14 Nov 2013Wow.. Its very nice phone When it will be come to indian market ?In early january 2014 motorola again enters into indian market

Wow... great 1 more cheapest jelly bean mobile.... just like ALCATEL One Touch Fierce but i still wonder Alcatel One Touch Fierce Is Still More Cheaper...
Great specifications.... A real competitor to Nexus 4 and any smart phone under 20k range.
there is no ambient light sensor is included the specifications...i searched many blogs, but i didn't find the sensor in those specs also...we have to wait for the official review from GSMARENA...
For all those retards who sues for not non expandable storage.
Google owns android and motorola is also a part of it
Therefore phones made by google tries to deliver a full pure android experience. If they include SD cards , the speed and swiftness will become slow nd laggy. Since different people use diff sd cards . Thats why they kept internal storage without expansion. And the speed of a class 6 sd card is much slower than hspa+.
