Wow... great 1 more cheapest jelly bean mobile.... just like ALCATEL One Touch Fierce but i still wonder Alcatel One Touch Fierce Is Still More Cheaper...
Great specifications.... A real competitor to Nexus 4 and any smart phone under 20k range.
there is no ambient light sensor is included the specifications...i searched many blogs, but i didn't find the sensor in those specs also...we have to wait for the official review from GSMARENA...
For all those retards who sues for not non expandable storage.
Google owns android and motorola is also a part of it
Therefore phones made by google tries to deliver a full pure android experience. If they include SD cards , the speed and swiftness will become slow nd laggy. Since different people use diff sd cards . Thats why they kept internal storage without expansion. And the speed of a class 6 sd card is much slower than hspa+.
Smexy i want one, bring to all countries plz for $150 sell like pancakes.
SEAN, 14 Nov 2013Will Moto G available in Asian countries such as India & Sri Lanka?yes! even in the philippines.
It's a shame that they do what Motorola phones phones become very low level: no SD card, no stereo FM radio with RDS, no NFC, with poor vision to sunlight ... etc. why Samsung and others are much more. Too bad Google and Motorola so far from consumers
No SdCard Slot -- a deal breaker. Another deal breaker is non user replaceable battery. Probably it has replaceable battery.
i wonder how much it costs them to put a memory card slot in device¡!!!!!!!!!!
I will buy it. Cheap price with a lot of quality. Nice works Motorola !
Anonymous, 13 Nov 20131000 times that. I consider myself price sensitive, and that's the reason why I will NOT buy a... moreTotally agreed with you who would want to buy a shit phone like this w/o memory card slot no matter how cheap it is. Back to the 70's like buying a car w/o Aircon & no Auto gear box. Motorola don't produce what you like. Produce something your Customers want, wait up your marketing TEAM don't sleep. Good Luck
we will definitely accept the slowness of micro sds rather than having to store everything in cloud......we want our data readily at hand than some cloud,
moto g with 8/16 gb ???? this is the reason why motorola and google sucks, thank u samsung n sony for making this world a better place,
one guy commented about the slow sluggishness of micro sd cards, may be he never heard of ultra high speed micro sds,
Leng, 13 Nov 20138/16 GB internal memory and no expandable memory slot? Boy, are they trying to screw themselve... moreSo you would rather pay $50 - $100 more for phone with
half the stock memory & similar specs & then pay another
$20 - $50 more on top of that just to bring it up to
the amount of memory comes stock on this phone? Not
me. They are saying the 16 Meg version of this phone
is going to be around $199. That should be plenty for
anyone, & stock memory performs better than card
Anonymous, 14 Nov 2013no voice features and active notification like the moto x :(((( wtf well, it's $200. You're not going to get the extra stuff for nothing!
Looks like Motorola being part of Google also means, following the Nexus theme of not having an SD card. Why manufacturers don't understand that the cloud model is not really suitable for most countries due to bandwidth and high cost of Internet data remains a mystery. The very reason that SD card remains an useful option is that you have content far greater than your phone capacity, and upload and download to the cloud storage is not really viable.
