Official website says o... moreGPS,GLONASS,BDS are agencies providing GPS services.they are not chips or hardware as you are requesting it's confirmation. Though it's free to access, they are under government controls.
Sensors are only a chip inbuilt in mobile motherboard. These work either with assistance from your phone service provider( that is what is called A-GPS- Assisted GPS). If your phone network is weak, nobody can help.
Other way of connecting is using your data services. Again if data services are weak, you will be helpless.
For chip info you need to contact Motorola directly.
It's a lower mid range phone and you expect to squeeze out precision features like a flagship phone.
If you want to have very accurate GPS service better use a dedicated GPS device.
Can any one confirm me which gps sensor are supported in moto g4 play? Official website says only a-gps bt some websites says A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS sensors....
Anonymous, 28 Oct 2016This does not answer my question, you are only giving another option.Yours is not a question, but you are playing mischief with gadgets.
Every component of a particular instrument is calibrated to work in sync with each other , though they may be appearing same outside. And this is one of the reasons that original spares and accessories are insisted.
E3 battery is calibrated to work with its 'team' and G4 play battery is calibrated to work with it's 'team'. Moment you exchange( if it works, which actually should not) the batteries, you are creating problems with working system of the respective instruments.

Use comon sense.
Instead of buying a new handset for its battery or buying other handset's battery and trying to fit in,rather buy an extra battery of handset you are using (E3 or G4 play) and keep it as standby with full charge.
This makes it simple rather than complicated.
Both phones are almost identical in size with the Power being .3mm thicker and both GK40 and GK50 batteries look the same. It will come down to someone actually trying a G4 Play phone with the E3 Power battery. If one wanted to use the Play with a "beefy" battery.

E3 Power is 3500 mAh and G4 play is 2800 mAh.
Why are you simply messing up things?
Does anyone have both the G4 Play and E3 Power? Can you use the E3 Power GK50 battery in the G4 Play if it fits and the phone recognizes it?
Hello twitty, 27 Oct 2016Moto e3 power just overwhelm this device.. with better battery and cheaper price... i dont kno... moreI had said same thing when it was launched. These are more or less same with only major difference being SD processor and battery capacity.
Instead of 2 handsets, E3 power with SD processor would have been a great combination.
Moto e3 power just overwhelm this device.. with better battery and cheaper price... i dont know what motorola is thinking when they just luanched 2 device in just 1 month with almost same specs

Companies are providing cheap phones to consumer by pay less salaries to their workers, what about the expectation of these workers working in these companies for more than 12hr, these peoples are working hard to live basic life. so please care about these peoples and try to satisfy yourself and control your demands.
Anonymous, 26 Oct 2016Is it suitable for gaming
Please read comments on this forum from past few days before you shoot any question. Few of us have answered your question number of times.
There is one person named JS48.he has answered it.
In short - it's a budget phone. Don't have sky high expectations. It's not for heavy gaming.
Papun, 22 Oct 20161) Can any one please confirm me in box turbo charger provided or not???? Or for speed chargin... moreIt has 5.2 V 2A charger . Not 9V charger like moto g4 plus . But it's very good. 10% - 100% it takes 1 hr 30 minutes. I have tried charging it via moto g2 charger which is just 550mA that takes 4 hrs to charge it. I am using 64 gb memory card works good. Really good phone.go for it
sahil, 24 Oct 2016Please suggest one mobile moto G4 play and moto e3 power which mobile i should buy???Go for G4 play.
It will be better than E3 Power.
But if you want beefy battery, then chose E3 Power.
But mind you, both are basic phones, good for phone calls, messages, emails etc.
Don't expect too much like games and heavy graphics application on these.
When you buy any of these two, request to do the following
- do not use phone while charging
- do not try to download many apps at same time. Load them one by one.have patience.
- prolonged usage with graphics intensive apps will result in warming of both devices. Please understand, these are not power robots, but are basic phones.
- try not to cover with thick and heavy protective shells / skins. It may hinder dissipation of warming.
- AND DONT GO BY NEGATIVE COMMENTS THAT YOU SEE. DECIDE FOR YOURSELF. NO PHONE IS PERFECT. IT IS UPTO A USER HOW HE/ SHE USES IT PERFECTLY ( after understanding it's limitations)
If you stick to basics ,you will have a pleasant experience.
