To be honest this is one of the best mobile phone under 15K. Yes there are some issues related to heating and ghost touch while Turbocharging but keeping these two problems apart, MOTO G4 PLUS is a very smooth and effective set. I have been using it for over an year now and I've not faced a single issue and not even once my phone hanged which was the major reason I shifted from Samsung to Moto. It's an excellent phone for medium users and it delivers what it promises.
I have had to rate Motorola a 1 star as a rating of zero stars is not available, this Moto G4 phone is my first Motorola product and without a doubt, my last!!! The phone is crap (Google it and see how many people have the common problems) and the customer service is a lot worse! Impossible to get any information from them and they have no interest in fixing a faulty product, a truly horrible experience. Do yourself a favour and buy something else!
Update: About ghost touch issue. Noticed it was worse during the day & in bright light at night. Shut off "Auto Dim" feature & lowered brightness to 1/4 bright. Still plenty bright & phone seems to operate normally even when charging. Very rugged phone. I slammed this phone & tossed it 20 times during ghost touch issues (ghost touch rendered phone useless, opened 38 internet pages, typed complete random texts, made calls on it's own, & opened what ever app it felt like. Almost bought S7 to replace it). No damage. Now back in love with G4+.

G4 Plus was awesome for almost a year. Quick, great photos, great reception & sound. Now it has a Ghost touch screen. It opens apps, types characters & dials on its own preventing you from using phone. Many others have same problem even after reboot, flash, or replacement. Some say its the case but does the same ghost touch even without case, and worse when plugged in.

Rick, 13 Dec 2017When will Oreo update be available for Moto G4 plus?According to techradar.com it will!
I am glad, because I had this phone for over 1.5 years and I had no issues what so ever.
I am surprised at the number of posts who state all the different issues they are having.
Like all electronic devices, smart phones are somewhat delicate and need good protection against shock and need the screen to be kept pristine for proper response.
I have a wallet type case protecting it and although I am careful handling the phone, the case shows some scratches that would have been on the phone without it.
I have the 2GB RAM / 32GB storage version, with a 128GB micro SD portable storage.
I am not an extensive user, using it mainly for (in order of importance):
Phone, Google search, GPS, photos, notes (OneNote badge is the best!) and VR games.
When using a VR headset, the phone will heat up, but nothing like some users are reporting.
I am overall very satisfied with mine and look forward to get Android 8 on it!
I've been using Oreo with the Pixel XL 2 and I love it!
