Even using the camera app from 10 -15 mins it starts to stutter ... cpu starts throttling and you get lag and you can hardly receive a call with all that heat. It seems to have abnormal heating issue and motorola have overlooked proper heat management like providing copper tubes inside to absorb the heat from snap 617. Is this phone even suitable for tropical countries like India as i want to buy one?
I have a snap 615 device (vivo x5max) and it has proper heat management, it only reaches high temp during games over 20 mins of play. It doest not stutter even if i keep the camera app open for over an hour and the user interface always remain butter smooth. I dont understands much about phone tech so wanted your take about buying this moto g4 plus in India where temperatures go as much as 40 degrees.
Anonymous, 29 May 2016Snapdragon 615 and 617 are not based on big.LITTLE.
The thing is Exynos 7890 still is faster... moreare you kidding me?
big.LITTLE was announced along with the
Cortex-A7 , which was designed to be architecturally compatible with the Cortex-A15 go do your homework properly
becuz 2 clusters are better than single cluster
there are different types of arm big.LITTLE cluster swtich like
for more info https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARM_big.LITTLE
even sd 820 has big.LITTLE set up 2 clusters of dual cores..
and btw all phone models have different kernels ...so performance is different on all phones...even if same soc is being used...
if you're comparing on basis of Benchmarks...let me tell you Samsung sets their devices to top in Benchmarks like antutu
real life performance Motorola phones have great RAM management
even moto e 2 scored 60000 on antutu with custom kernel
Anonymous, 29 May 2016A53 is a weak processor. It can't have any heat issues lol.
Snapdragon 410 uses it, no issues... moreweak processor?
it's the first 64bit arm architecture
and performance and heating has no issue
it's architectural design flaw that causes heating when it's over clocked
even I'm not 100% sure I read 3/4 blogs on it
same issue was with because even moto g3 heats ...
actually all phones heats..it just that Samsung's plastic is bad conductor lol
check data from bipolar transistors even Sammy touches 40°c easily
and the main stuff behind heating is IPS LCD which has 2 transistors per pixels...for eg a HD 720p display has 2.1million pixels...so there are 4 million transistors generating heat combine em all n phones touches 40°c
for soc 40°c is cool temp but dunno why OEMs...chi manufacturers set heat throttling engine at 44°c
maybe because there were incidents of some phones explosion

"clear all button X some sort of task killer
Andriod doesn't require task killer...unlike windows...
Andriod performs better if there's cached process on RAM

Of course pixel size is also a... moresry if you got offended
even I replied to that person turns out I replied to you
Anonymous, 29 May 2016The GPU of the RN3 isn't better than the GPU of Moto X Style.*Cores
I like it. I ordered for my android development. I already working on moto g first gen. Such a nice phone
ThuckingFypo, 29 May 2016Haha man Lipo are also called lithium ion polymer.... its just same as li ion but better in so... moreIt's not better, you still didn't understand after reading all the links I provided? That's a shame.
Samsung, LG, Sony, HTC all use lithium ion batteries. Sony phones have industry leading battery life, and they use lithium ion batteries. iPhones aren't know for their battery backup.
Basically the only advantage is they are lighter, less rigid, soft.
what is the difference between a normal Li ion and Li ion polymer? As far as the user is concerned, lithium polymer is essentially the same as lithium-ion. Both systems use identical cathode and anode material and contain a similar amount of electrolyte.
So it wouldn't even affect the end user in any way.
Moto g4 is good choise than redmi note 3. In my hostel 8 friends got it but only 2 got redmi. I love this awsome technology.
I have it from 4 days. As i read opinions i have no any problem. I enjoyed huge games no problem. Very nice phone
