Does it support virtual reality videos?
Moto G and Moto G Turbo surely dont support....
Several users are complaining about the absurd heating issue from the moto g4/ g4plus devices.... it is pity to see such a great line up like moto g ... that redefined the budget smartphone segment fall into ashes. During gaming for about 20 mins it is reaching 50 degree centigrade .. this is surely a big problem ... also during using camera app for over 15 mins .. watch the C4ETech youtube video for that.
Have motorola made any official statement yet? If they do not react quickly they will loose hundreds and thousands of moto fans like me. They must re-engineer the moto g4 plus with proper heat management system or else they are going nowhere.

Anonymous, 29 May 2016Li-ion doesn't last lower than Li-Po, in fact li-po has less recharge cycles than Li-ion. chec... moreHaha man Lipo are also called lithium ion polymer.... its just same as li ion but better in some terms..the same li ion is pacled in polymer bags and the semipermeable membrane used is of polymer type ...it is costly to produce and it is a little bit better.
Problems soved :
Heating issue is not for life time. The update is comming from moto that fixes heating issue, fingerprint, hand up etc. Dont worry you can take Moto g4 plus.
ThuckingFypo, 28 May 2016I think u must do some research
Lithium polymer batteries have a higher heat tolerance, highe... moreLi-ion doesn't last lower than Li-Po, in fact li-po has less recharge cycles than Li-ion. check the link which I gave you. I have a Lenovo A526 with a Li-Po battery and the battery is starting to buldge.
Li-polymer are lighter and can provide very high currents, but they don't have too long cycle life, they have to be used with very big care, and they're not very safe.
Lithium-Ions, on the other hand, can't provide so much current and are heavier (for same stored energy), but they are much safer.
Phone fabilous than redmi note 3, i dont knw why people saying RN-3 choise. Moto gives latest updates in android. Fresh android use as soon it releases not in redmi note 3. They will receive when we still bor using it. Really this is nice one

Lithium polymer batteries have a higher heat tolerance, highe... morehttp://www.androidauthority.com/lithium-ion-vs-lithium-polymer-whats-the-difference-27608/ this will contradict all of your statements
Same recharge cycles for both.
And tell me, how many phones with li-ion batteries have blasted in your face?

Moto G4+ is a Very Good phone indeed..
I am Using this phone since 8 days did not feel any kind of Lag, with 3GB RAM & 32GB ROM Phone runs very smooth & more importantly it Runs Stock android Marsh mellow 6.0.1 also can be upgraded to Android N & O in Future thats what I red in website.
The focused areas of this Phone are a Camera which is superb 16MP PDAF & LAF when compared with any other range of Smartphones at this price point & other area on focus is its Fingerprint sensor which superbly quick & responsive from any direction if we place our Registered Finger....
Battery comes almost a Day if you are a Heavy user not to worry Moto provides a Turbo charger(2.1 Amp)in the Box where we can Charge phones quickly. While Charging Phone gets heated a Lil not to worry its only during charging other wise on usage phone does not gets heated...
Connectivity, it is 4G LTE where SIM 1 Slot is 4G & SIM 2 Slot is 3G, Voice Calls is has superb Clarity which is Clear & crisp. I still need to understand Officially that this phone supports VO-LTE. I have red in news that it Supports VO-LTE.
I feel Moto G4+ is a Killer phone of this season...
I think Motorola and now lenovo have lost the mid range segment by launching confusing moto g 4th gen phones. They have confused their fans by launching moto g4 in mediocre specs. In order to retain their hold in mid range segment, they should have launched moto g4 in only two sizes, one with 5 inch FHD and snapdragon 625 with 13 MP camera and 2gb ram, another with 5.5 inch FHD and snapdragon 652 with 16 MP camera with OIS and 3gb ram and finger print sensor. I think by this way they should have stayed ahead of competition and their moto g brand should have survived the onslaught of other Chinese brands. RIP Motorola !
Anonymous, 27 May 2016Moto G4 plus or samsung galaxy J7 or redmi note 3 Which one is good ???Blindly go for Redmi note 3 for better features, better performance and excellent value for money.
