Mihir, 29 May 2016Phone fabilous than redmi note 3, i dont knw why people saying RN-3 choise. Moto gives latest ... moreBecause RN3 has SOC that's is even powerful than Moto x style
rn3 has snapdragon 650 soc which uses latest arm a72 architecture 30% more powerful and 30% more battery efficient than arm a57 and comparing that to snapdragon 617 with a53 core's....it's 50% more powerful and 30% more battery efficient
Anonymous, 29 May 2016yesterday, I sold rn3 due to some problems. please do not buy this phone. I am planning to buy... more1St thing gyroscope in games..it depends on developer's calibration
mostly game's use accelerometer
G4+ doesn't even have NFC
I think Motorola and now lenovo have lost the plot by launching the moto g 4th gen in confusing specs. The phone should have been launched in only two sizes, one with 5 inch FHD having snapdragon 625, 13 MP camera and 2 GB ram, another with 5.5 inch FHD having snapdragon 652, 16 MP camera with OIS, 3 GB ram and fingerprint sensor. Instead they just confused their fans by launching the phone in mediocre specs, when there are already phones available with better specs. Motorola moto g was a brand in itself that people blindly trusted, and now they themselves killed that reputation by cheating their fans, when they expecting better specs. Motorola is now dead in mid range segment as other companies are launching phones with advanced processors and in lower prices. There is still some short time for Motorola/lenovo to do the course correction, other wise moto g and henceforth Motorola will be a history. RIP Motorola !
i want to buy this mobile..but i want to know is there an update that is released for the solution of its heating problem or not yet..is it worth the money??
mts58, 29 May 2016Several users are complaining about the absurd heating issue from the moto g4/ g4plus devices.... moreTotally understand your views and rightly said too....but Moto shud have used atleast sd 650 no matter what others say....sd 615/616/617 are prone to heating and this is the real problem
Prince, 26 May 2016i am totally confused between redmi note 3(32/3gb) and moto g4 plus (32/3gb) ?? my budget is ... moreI have used both Motorola is gud. Stock android best cam.. timely updates. Turbo charger. Buy 32gb
Moto g4 plus is misbehaving when it is charged
Does all users have same problem??
What to doo?
Does it support virtual reality videos?
Moto G and Moto G Turbo surely dont support....
Several users are complaining about the absurd heating issue from the moto g4/ g4plus devices.... it is pity to see such a great line up like moto g ... that redefined the budget smartphone segment fall into ashes. During gaming for about 20 mins it is reaching 50 degree centigrade .. this is surely a big problem ... also during using camera app for over 15 mins .. watch the C4ETech youtube video for that.
Have motorola made any official statement yet? If they do not react quickly they will loose hundreds and thousands of moto fans like me. They must re-engineer the moto g4 plus with proper heat management system or else they are going nowhere.

Anonymous, 29 May 2016Li-ion doesn't last lower than Li-Po, in fact li-po has less recharge cycles than Li-ion. chec... moreHaha man Lipo are also called lithium ion polymer.... its just same as li ion but better in some terms..the same li ion is pacled in polymer bags and the semipermeable membrane used is of polymer type ...it is costly to produce and it is a little bit better.
Problems soved :
Heating issue is not for life time. The update is comming from moto that fixes heating issue, fingerprint, hand up etc. Dont worry you can take Moto g4 plus.
ThuckingFypo, 28 May 2016I think u must do some research
Lithium polymer batteries have a higher heat tolerance, highe... moreLi-ion doesn't last lower than Li-Po, in fact li-po has less recharge cycles than Li-ion. check the link which I gave you. I have a Lenovo A526 with a Li-Po battery and the battery is starting to buldge.
Li-polymer are lighter and can provide very high currents, but they don't have too long cycle life, they have to be used with very big care, and they're not very safe.
Lithium-Ions, on the other hand, can't provide so much current and are heavier (for same stored energy), but they are much safer.
