You have very high expectations..
And the 617 scores 40k in antutu, that is a respectable score. If you are so concerned about processing power, you should look at higher end phones.

I guess everyone cant do a Xiaomi. Xiaomi and Oneplus phones have low price and high specs compared to rivals.
Oneplus 2 had snapdragon 810 at a low price compared to rival 810 phones. That doesnt make 810 a midrange phone.
Even the Xiaomi redmi note 3 has got issues. Xiaomi was so busy putting a good chipset that they compromised in many other areas
Its because of this that Xiaomi isnt that popular in Western markets compared to Indian and other Asian markets.
From what I know, most Indian consumers want high specs at a low price. Quality isnt important. All that is important is specs sheet, and this is where Xiaomi excels.
Other people dont mind specs, they look at other features and real life perfomance, and quality
They could put 16MP camera, 3 GB RAM fingerprint scanner but not a simple eCompass ?? Worthless.... idiotic.
Td, 19 May 2016Xiaomi note3 has 650 processorbut...i heard of some complaints about redmi note3
Anonymous, 19 May 2016For heaven's sake this is a midrange phone. Snapdragon 650 is a higher class above 617 and it ... moreIn terms of performance, i consider the SD617 to be low-end in 2016, not even midrange. The SD650 is higher class, but why does the Xiaomi Redmi note 3 (a budget, $200 phone) have it? If this Moto G4 plus really is the just the entry-level phone from Motorola, I'm expecting it be reasonably priced - somewhere around $200-250. If this phone cost higher than $300, then that is outrageous.
Moto G smartphones have always struck a good balance between features and price, not to mention that undeniable dependability of software updates that the entire series enjoys.
AnonD-388534, 18 May 2016bad step taken by lenovo by putting snapdragon 617 in 1080p screen......this phone is heating ... moreThe phone manages to handle high-bitrate and full-HD videos well. You'll notice a bit of lag in the camera app if the phone is warm, which could be due to the system throttling the CPU speed in order to prevent it from overheating.Moto G 4 got a score of 42,229 in the AnTuTu benchmark and 17fps in GFXbench, which are both respectable.
sourav, 19 May 2016which phone best in moto g4 plus or moto x play?is this dual sim or not????
AnonD-83097, 19 May 2016Snapdragon 650 only for costly phones?? LOL! what about redmi note3, cheaper than Moto g4 :PThis is business strategy. Good hardware less cost, no OS update,
without dual sim, its waste,,,due to not having duel sim nokia and blackberry earlier lost in this market....better manfacture with duel sim....thanks
AnonD-531664, 19 May 2016Whose cam quality is better? G4 plus or j7(2016) Obvio no doudt J7
