There is no 4GB version. So this means memory management will take a hit. And I don't think the problem is Android on the Moto G5 Plus. It is how the software is optimised on the phone. A Galaxy S7 also has Android Nougat but memory management seems excellent with apps not having to reload.

Side buttons have no waterproof gasket or sealing. Charging port is sealed from one side and the other is covered with a yellow tape. Gaps in headphone jack. I don't understand how it can be waterproof. Only spills proof - until you spill something on side buttons or it will drawn in liquid with charging port and jack getting deep inside the liquid. motorola.blog/motorola-moto-g5-plus-complete-teardown/
I'm very aware the G5 Plus has "advanced nano coating". Whatever that means. But i'm concerned that when i accidentally spill my glass of water (or soda) or dunking in the sink for 5 seconds water will still enter the ports (speakers, grooves in the buttons, headphone jack, USB port and mic) and eventually damage the phone. Can anyone please advice me on this issue?

The "problems" with RAM management is not really a problem with the moto G5 Plus specifically but with Android OS in general.
I've heard that the G5 Plus' RAM management is poor; apps are not kept in memory and they reload almost everytime you open them even with the "standard" 3GB version. Can someone confirm this for me please?
Mr. Electronics, 22 Apr 2017X compact is better in terms of camera qualtiyThe iPhone 6S camera is very basic (tho somewhat natural-looking), the Moto G5 Plus has fast autofocus but photos are somewhat bland and video has not stabilisation. What makes the X Compact camera superior?
