Almost a year with this device. Battery life has diminished greatly with the recent update.
Just got an update. NOW I cannot block spam text messages.
Looking like I will have to buy a different phone.
Not a motorola
If you are on android 10,G cam is a must try.Worked really good, faster processing, use it as primary camera app.
#G cam results have more details,Sharpness, most importantly it can solve the dynamic range issue with the stock cam, Really good portraits.Amazed with the performance of front camera(Stock cam was remarkably bad in front camera image processing).Night sight produced usable images.I rarely uses Moto cam,But it has some benefits...
Pie users can also depend G cam for better results,But it is hard to find a smooth running version.New versions will result in slower processing.
#Moto cam is feature rich, manual focus helped a lot.If you prefer warm tone in images,in good lighting conditions-Moto cam may produce a bit more pleasing images than Gcam.
#Try to use One button navigation,You need some practice. But it is fast and reliable than Gesture navigation.
#I tried so many things to get better battery backup, finally found a helpful solution-Turn battery saver on!!!
Definitely,It will reduce performance- But if you can live up with that,This is the best solution.
# Someone said that- Display is a strain on eyes, Good news-Use screen dimmer,it is convenient in indoors. And reducing brightness is the best was to get better battery backup, sometimes it is the only way!!!
Just completed 1 year with Moto G7 Power.
It's a really good phone,But I won't recommend-Because 5000 mah became common these days, and updates (software, security or app) will only reduce the battery life.
Actually I got even a better phone than I expected.
The low resolution screen,Single speaker for both earpiece and loudspeaker,Single camera worked better than expected, and heard.
People who are going to update the phone to Android 10 must be careful-
1-You won't get a vast improvement over pie, atleast in real-life usage.
2-Battery life is never going to impress over pie,Stil it can go 2 fulldays-if you are a moderate user and have patience to change many settings.
I'm on A10 and happy with it. Doesn't mean everything is good on 10,but going to past will not satisfy me either.

neostar8, 30 May 2020It is not Motorola's fault, it is google/android thing/setting. You can check notification of ... moreI think the transfer issue IS a Motorola problem. I've owned various Motorolas over the years. The USB connection notification does not always pop up when you connect to a computer. I often have to go to "developer options" to change the settings. There is also a weird glitch with that: if I leave the data transfer option turned on, my phone may not recognize a wall charger after that. It will only trickle charge until I turn that option off and restart my phone. I have only had that issue with Motorola. This hasn't deterred me from buying this brand over the years, but it is worth knowing (and they really should fix this issue).
Purchased it today for €100 (state as new) (European 4/64 GB variant).
Motorola Moto G7 Power. It does not have dual stereo speakers with dolby, but only one and mono in the earphone, which with the appropriate quality music file,it sjust sounds decent.
It does not have the super screen resolution either, but for the average user, it is fine.
Processor's function is ok on android 9, there is no overheating, if you are of course an extreme gamer, you're looking at the wrong device.
I do not care about photography and video, so I can not say anything.
Call quality is good, the same goes for communication video on viber / instagram etc.
Neither Oukitel K7 Pro with 10000 Mah battery is,but with exactly half of this capacity, it lasts 13 hours of non-stop screen time, so it is considered above average.
Through 15 or 18w charger with usb-c,there's the "fast battery charge option".
It takes 1.15 to 1.30 hours for full replenish. If possible do not recharge the phone above 80% and below 20%.
Dual sim with a separate slot for the memory card (128GB SD card, with 6000 mp3 and 608 pictures runs super).
Net / wifi / hotspot signal is good.
Resistant to drops, punches (on screen), and crash test (throws on the wall).NO KIDDING,for none of them.
Bought it on Feb/2020 and its still alive.
Upgraded to android 10.On the first day, small glitches occur in operation, but the next the whole phone "runs" better and faster.
With a sturdy case and a screen protector, you have 1 decent mid range mobile phone, but its price should not exceed the bar of 150 euros (175 bucks).
Not a Motorola's employee.Just a destructive heavy user. And this phone for its price is very good.
Not very fluent in English either,so you may pardon any (or many) syntax errors.
Absolutely the worst phone I have ever used. Utter garbage. The data connection both on WiFi and mobile takes an age to respond, if at all, on multiple networks. A pointless waste of money that's put me off Motorola for good. I'd honestly rather have spent the last year with a Nokia 3310.
FatCJ, 15 Mar 2020This would've been such a great allrounder phone if the rear camera wasn't so incredibly bad (... moreOthers have answered your camera concerns, so I'll address the compass aspect.
For Maps, the GPS on the phone seems to work well enough that a compass isn't required.
But I did have trouble finding a dedicated compass app that would work, but finally found Compass 360 Pro.
I have the rebranded G7 Power known as Optimo Maxx. The only downside I've found for this phone is that it doesn't support Miracast (but Chromecast and WiFi Direct are there). And if having that notch at the top is something that really bothers you (doesn't bother me), look elsewhere. Even though its storage is just fine for the common user, I'm a bit of a power user with regards to app usage, so I added a 128GB SD card designed for storing and fast loading of apps. Overall, for a high-end budget phone, this fits my needs very well. Its battery keeps its power amazingly long too, and recharges quickly. It even upgraded to Android 10 recently and became even more sharp and user-friendly.
Very bad signal mobile
can you please tell me is this LTPS IPS LCD screen better than common IPS LCD. I was watching some comparations on youtube between these two and the common IPS LCD looked better.
Got A10 update for me and mate. Good phone made better. Main short coming is no NFC. Also a bit bulky, protective case or two is needed. I shattered one case. It is very efficient and solid for the price.
Just got the update. Helped with fingerprint unlock. Works fine, fast and intuitive. A bit bulky and easily dropped. Case a must. Best octacore brain in budgets.
Bought January this year.
Display is a strain on the eyes. Touch type is a mission.
Phone constantly drops signal, have tried using different Sims still the same issue.
Only plus is battery.
Donor buy this phone.
So android 10 finally came. it must be better than Pie, and even the Oreo, because and the Oreo was better than Pie. Isn't it? ;)
