Which one better, between this phone and Asus Max Pro M1!?
Especially for telephone signal.
Thank you.
I "bought" this phone four months ago (MetroPCS freebie). Previous phone was a Moto Z, before that all Iphones. I liked the Iphones but as my vision started to decrease, the cost of Iphones increased (Icarrot??). A 4.5" screen using max zoom 100% of the time is not a cool look while standing in line at Pinkberry. The Moto Z was very nice (not quite as sturdy but the extra square footage made up for it). After having a flagship experience, I tried to keep my expectations around the G7 power somewhere between Rob Zombie's Halloween reboot and Disneyland's California Adventure. The first three months were great, the night terrors I had (it was kind of like the flying dream, you know where you wave your arms back and forth and slowly levitate over friends and family....then everything would become pixelated and I'd start to free fall and find myself waking up screaming "half the PPI....HALF the PPI") were disappearing and I started to get used to not having U.S.B.C.A.D. (an anxiety disorder rooted in the fear of not being able to find a USB-C charger, secondary to depression experienced after a teardown of a glove compartment yields seventeen micro-usb cords of varying lengths).
Then, time started to show up. Not father time, or even Cher singing "If I could turn back time"; This was the time who I suspect is a second cousin twice removed of Window's Blue Screen of Death. Okay, not quite that bad but the little clock watch face is appearing allot regardless of what app or process I'm in. I reset the phone, slowly added apps, and it started again. Not that I even need to see the clock because the phone is slowing down.
So, I'm not so sure about the longevity of this two hundred dollar but I paid nothing for it headset? Time will tell ;-)

Hello, is this phone missing some usual sensors, like compass etc ? I got one in Eastern Europe and it does not have NFC, and when you use certain apps, for example using apps like star chart, that need you to manually swipe instead or turning automatically when facing a certain direction, any thoughts ?
The power button is to close the the volume buttons, big mistake. It is difficult to use. Almost a great phone, but you design is poor.
for most part, it was a good phone, but I sent mine back on 2 counts because of poor speaker. Rare occasions when i need to speak to someone, all i got was "speak up, I cant hear you". the phone was full volume. thought i just had a bad one on the 1st count, Problem persisted on the 2nd, had enough by then, P.S loved the near on 3 days of battery life

O.klandcruiser, 07 Oct 2019Please if anyone can help me with the three main problems of this, I want to buy it or even on... moreFirst of all g7 power is a not a 800.00 phone... But either aside it's a great budget phone ... I wish my galxy s8+ had anywhere near it's battery life. It'll run most everything smoothy except some of the more demanding games... I use Nova launcher a replacement to the stock launcher and it seems to do quite well. Screen can go super bright without hogging batt. Speaker is what you'd expect. Camera is there... Takes ok pics... But if your not stuck on that then... Dropping calls was an issue but hasn't been in quite some time...i Use wifi calli exclusively. Also this is a phone made by linovo for Motorola... Highly recommend this phone for the price...I also use an app called AppShut to close all running programs from time to time to free things up .
I am fully satisfied with Moto G7 Power. But I am ready to accept the fact that Redmi,Realme phones in this price range is far superior.
Battery life of Power is insane......
User interface is so simple,no heavy customisation......
Good,descent display....
Good audio loudness, quality except ringing volume( loudness is fair, but speaker can be accidentally blocked since it is placed inside notch

I have no problem calling. I was once put on hold for over half and hour on a long distance call, and never got disconnected.
I have a G7 power and it definitely is not a good phone. I will make a call and within a minute it will drop the call. Thought I had a lemon, Motorola replaced it and guess what? Same problem, dropped calls so now waiting on a 3rd replacement and they won't refund never buy a Motorola again. Using a cheap android and it has no problems treated myself to the power for all day battery, no wonder it lasts all day because you can't make calls, thought it was a phone not a small tablet. Better hope your life isn't in jeporady or your doomed.

Does this phone have Wi-Fi calling capability?
This phone is increable,I had the moto X play before,it lasted me three years, this phone for the price it is the best purchase I've had made in years, every phone will have something to complain about, just buy it you will thank me later joe
Its already october and my phone is still in august 1 security patch..motorola lenovo please take care of your customers..give us atleast once in two month security patch update.
Had this phone about 4 months. Like others the call volume is poor with the front facing speaker. The volume buttons stacked with the power button are also a poor design. My biggest problem has been it will suddenly stopp accepting a charge. This problem was corrected by Verizon by brushing port to "remove possible dust or debris" though none could ever be seen. Finally, even this no longer worked and Verizon was at a loss. Moto service technician contacted and we were told this was automatic and indicated the phone needed a "hard reset". This is accomplished by holding the power button down until phone automatically shuts down and powers up on it's own....different from a restart. This info is not available anywhere and the technician could offer no other explanation. This is a piece of junk!!!
