If they choose 720p, why make the phone that huge? The g-series is perfect for kids (teens) and grandparents. They often can't handle such a huge phone and drop it easily. I'd show the only manufacturer with sub 6" right now?

Good phone bought one yesterday.
For 169€ is good choice. Decent screen cameras , great batery life good chipset.

But there are good points on having an HD+ panel.
Faster processing and better batery life.
If you´re not into photos and videos HD+ is enough for everyday use

Do not buy this phone, the fingerprint sensor stopped working after a few weeks, and it is a known hardware issue.. needs to be sent off for repair, avoid avoid avoid...

Sounds so great. I use a moto g6 and it only has 3GB system and the 4GB performance must be great.
What about the 5G. I feel I will get it here in LaCrosse WI soon. Now it would only be a novelty in the select 20 or so towns that have 5G, and they ae so split between base carriers.
TRACFONE will adopt this phone E V E N T U A L L Y & I think they won't foot drag, and I will never give up Tracfone, I am not stupid.

Why on Earth would I pay 209€ when for 229, € I have the Moto g8 power or even the the G8 plus for almost the same money?
Honestly this should cost as much 170. This g8 is the play series but they forgot to add it.

So no, HD+ is not biger resolution then FHD, simple math. Also the pixel density is 268 ppi compared to my 4 years old G4's 401 ppi density or the G7's 405 ppi, now that is a substantial downgrade in my eyes.
