Very good value. I recommend getting the international version of the g8 power as you get the telephoto camera, which is not included in the US variant of the g power.

It feels very good in hand, but i also bought a bigger and more rugged cover.
Note that this device is heavier than most other devices, it looks more manlier also.

dt, 28 May 2020After 11 days of not much use, my phone finally needed a recharge... wowTo give a better idea of the battery consumition: In 11 days I have attended a 1 hour call, downloaded 5-7 apps, and some internet browse. 7h 49min of screen usage according the phone info.

I remember the G(1) being one of my favorite phones. It had all one needed in a small package. Reminder: it had a 4,6" screen - just perfect. Recommended it to many family members and friends alike (they hate big phone). now we have the 8th version of the g and it still delivers. But, like most other companies do it, this isn't a phone for everyone anymore. The battery is there, the ram and the SOC, but the 6,4" is just a no go for so many customers. I wish Motorola, but also every other manufacturer would add at least one "compact" phone to their line up. What good is 10 phones sized 6,4-6,9" but having no phone 5"? You leave out a big group of customers a.k.a. alot of money und unspent.

In terms of spec, definitely this Motorola. The chipset is Snapdragon, you have a native telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and a much bigger battery.

leifH, 11 May 2020Does not have ac-wireless connections A real killer feature..You may want to consider the US-only Moto G Power. It offers more LTE bands and AC Wireless at the same MSRP. No NFC though as that's not used as much in the USA as in Europe or Asia.
