Will, 18 Oct 2015Excellent phone, I only have one problem: why can't I hide certain apps from my app drawer?? T... moreDon't use the default (Google) launcher if you need any funky features like that.

You may use Go Launcher or many of the others but I would not recommend that. Motorola has made the right choice by keeping the default Google Launcher

My very first android phone, honestly I held other brands of android phone devices especially those premium android phones like the samsung s5 and above so as other flagship phones, Moto G 3rd gen is something I never expected it to be, I was surprised that this can actually do the job the way you wanted it to work, yes indeed it is not like the flagship phones that has a lot of features to offer but for me personally I find it very handy and the features it offers are practically decent enough to my every day needs, the design simple yet clean, I thought it`s all plastic but to my surprised it was not, it has a metal frame that you thought it`s like plastic, corning gorilla glass sturdy build the display is good enough or should i say great enough that looks like retina? although it is not that close to apple`s retina display yet it`s still HD you don`t see any pixels unless you actually stared at it for a few mins. also you can put an sd card into it which samsung ditch a long ago.. camera is pretty decent front and back, performance wise? really fast not like fast and the furious but fast, faster than sony m4 aqua, I have the 8GB and 1GB or ram but still it does the job really good. all in all into my experience moto g 3rd gen is a great phone very good phone for a mid range android, there are more midrange budget phones out there that does the job really good but always keep in mind this moto g pack a punch as well if my 8GB storage and with it`s 1GB can do great what more if I have the 16GB with 2GB of ram can do? i recommend this phone to any people out there who wants to have a nice phone not pricey but still do the task you wanted it to be, my advise dig deep on reviews first before you decided to buy such phone, don`t be fooled by the way it is advertised even flagship phones has flaws and sometimes you`ll end up regreting buying a almost a thousand dollar phone while you can get it to less than $500 and has the features you need.

I had confusion of taking moto G 3 .I have read user opinion in this.there were lots of negative reviews. But also I had taken this with risk. Now am very happy that I have taken right decision. The best in Moto is best in ram manager.very cool ui and user friendly
Another best in Moto is best battery backup it hold a day with moderate use of phone
There was a negative review about front cam I will clear it
It is pure camera not like Samsung or other cheap Chinese smartphone which use butify software in it to enhance the pic.So Moto is good and pure camera
It also has slow mo which don't have in smartphone under 15k
Another most important thing while taking smartphone is will they give regular Android update
Moto has confirmed that they will give Android M update on Moto G3 and also G2
But Samsung not teased yet about update of Android M on J5&J7
So I strongly recommend to buy a Moto G3

gaurav bigg, 16 Oct 2015Moto G 3rd is the perfect Smartphone great performer way ahead in front of Samsung J7 & J5... moreHelp Guys

I need to buy a new phone and after spending a week on the net I'm competely confused as the best way to go.

I've read so many reviews my brain hurts. but the tech terminology totally confuses me. i thought Kit Kat and Lolypops were something one bought at sweet shops. I've decided on the Motorola brand, despite Motorola not being generally available in Indonesia unlike samsung which dominates the market.

However the idea of a pure google experience and some of the voice activated aps appeal to me. Now this is where I need help.

I don't stream or store videos, just use a phone to make and receive calls and the internet. So do I buy the Motorola new 3rd generation Moto G or a Moto X model 1056, 1058 or 1058XT. Spec below

                    (1) MOTO X 2GB RAM 4G LTE 16 KB WHITE Android 4.22 (Jelly Bean) - Priced Rp1,999,000

                    (2) MOTO X XT 1058 4G LTE -16GB BLACK Core 1.7 Krait 300 - Priced Rp 1,995,000

                    (3)MOTO X 16 GB WHITE Android 4.22 (Jelly Bean) - RP 1,998,000

                    (4) Moto 3rd Generation Priced Rp 2.7000,000

Motorola don't have any agents in Indonesia except Lazada an on-line shopping outfit, who handle their Phones but not the latest models like the Moto G 3rd generation, which is available via individual supplier in limited quantity. All phones above come with a 1 year warrantee.

So which is the best buy

                    Regards
                    RC
PS I not a huge fan of the trend towards larger phones that don't fit in your pocket

Excellent phone, I only have one problem: why can't I hide certain apps from my app drawer?? That's a completely standard feature, I can't imagine it would be difficult to implement. I imagine most people don't care much it's just a really handy feature that's pretty standard fare in cell phones nowadays.

abhi, 17 Oct 2015K3 note very high radiation . moto g3 also a bit low Radiation depends upon your network and simultaneous use of frequencies at the same time. I think you don`t use your phone with all network, Wifi, Data connection,Bluetooth,FM radio at he same time.
We should appreciate Lenovo for providing the highest limit of SAR radiation possible which other brands don`t mention properly.
So don`t confuse people regarding SAR values. K3 note SAR value is within limits and there is no issue.

Only reason to buy moto g3 is fast upgrades and stock os.
If u dnt need these two buy samsung j7 or j5
even k3 note and a7000 are v good
                                        J7=k3 > g3 > j5

                                        remeber g3 is quad core..
and will not be as fast as j7
