I have the moto g 1st gen so the 3rd gen should be a step up an upgrade to what I have now. So it should be better good specs too

Should i get this or the idol one touch 5.5. Whats big for me is battery life something that lasts which one do you guys think is better.

Rexton270, 28 Sep 2015If I would be you would get LG G3-huge display, capable HW, though not sure about the updates ... moreI would be go for Moto G 3rd gen as it's a latest release 2015 and save my money for next year phone.I my opinion there is no sense to invest huge money in Smartphone.Every 5 to 6 month it becomes old and new and advance feature is available.Moto G 3rd gen is the good performer and there is no any contradiction and value for money.I will go for Moto G 3rd gen overall its a very good phone.But Lg G 3 having very good camera and fantastic display and it will definitely get M update.But very costly.

However, with average usage you don't need to worry. Moto will serve you very well...

Second would be Moto 3 - cheaper, less capable but not disappointing and comes with timelly updates and is much more cheaper.
Don't bother with S4...

Got the Moto 3 few days ago and so far all good. Wanted some decent second phone (I'm die-hard Samsung fan) for my Galaxy S6 Edge.
To be honest, this Moto 3 is amazing phone. The phone performs well, no lags, creaks ets. It has the water-resistent finish (IP-57?) so whoever complains about build quality never had this device in hands.
Pure Android with some Motorola apps does the job, no need for high-end spec.
Google does great job optimising SW with HW and the result is smooth user experience.
I'm spoiled with Samsung and its heavy "customosation" of the Galaxy S range.
With all those added extras high end spec is needed.
To avoid battery issues (over-heating, short battery life) first three times let the battery drain untill the phone switch off itself. Then charge it, don't turn it on. Also, don't leave it charging overnight. Max 3.5 hours and you'll be ok then.
So, if you guys looking for an Nexus experience and are on budget, go for the Moto G3. You won't be dissapointed. But keep in mind, its a pure Android, so it could be boringafter some time...

Please don't buy the 8gb version.. go for 16gb.. 8gb model has only 1gb ram.. 2gb is only available with 16gb model.. It's not clearly mentioned here...

Lenovo involvement only in marketing Moto devices made by Motorola Mobility.There I no involvement of Lenovo in manufacturing smartphone for Motorola.You can expect a lot more Motorola models in the future. Lenovo has decided that in the smartphone market the brand recognition of Motorola is much stronger than that of its own brand and will integrate Lenovo Mobile into Motorola.... That's not just a relabeling though, the President of Lenovo Mobile Group said that much of the organizational structure of Motorola will remain in place and will take lead of what is now Lenovo Mobile.

satyam, 27 Sep 2015people having brown eyegbecome glitter when flash is used and pic quality is not gd in nightLook at the price range you want every thing in this price braket.It's not a high end Smartphone it's a budget phone.You hardly get Smartphone under 20K having good camera which actually work in low light.Yes Alcatel Idol 3 camera is very good under 15K even in low light it works good.
