From 27days I'm using Motor G3. On 4G, its producing so much heat and also on WiFi. But, on the 3G, there are no problems. The battery backup is average, which drains out on 4G but not in 3G. Though it is exclusively built for 4G, its not supporting to that characteristics in terms of battery and heat dessipation. The design is old type. Camera features are excellent.

I have been using this phone since couple of weeks and it is heating a lot even on wifi transfer. If I am transferring the data using WiFI transfer app then also its heating upto limit from screen side that you can not touch on face to take call. Though there is no lag yet but disappointment due to heating issue :(
Can someone please suggest me if its particular handset issue or it is with this series?

1. Not getting connected to WiFi
2. Internet signal keeps going off. Both for 3g as well as 2g.

I use my Moto G 3 every day on web , calls ,camera and there is no heating what so ever , so people complaining about the phone dont even own one. Lol Its the best budget phone by far. And great battery life too

Avoid to buy this phone...
I am using it from last 20 days. It got hanged during call and another most shocking thing its audio setting stop working without any notification and i checked for same in sound setting and restart my phone but issue is not resolved.

It is very clear how loved the Moto G3 is. As a low end phone, the Moto G3 G3 is in the second most popular phone beating even the Galaxy S6. And maybe even beat the Note 5 in the popularity in GSMArena.com.
How many high end phone doesn't make it to be there?
How many low end phone in the target price have waterproof?

Anonymous, 26 Aug 2015Heating prob in moto g 3 gen. , no better battery life.buddy...maybe u got faulty prdt....i didn't think it will heat too much...sometimes it heats upto 41-43 deg during gaming...but the heating only lasts for max 5 mins & it cools down....its common to heat during gaming...i heard someone saying that its heating during 3g data usage...but as far as i used i couldn't feel any heat during 2g or 3g data usage(i only used mobile data for 20-30 mins only since i normally depend on wifi for internet connectivity...i dont know if it heats during longer usage)...i check battery drainage & heating regularly using an app called Battery HD...if ur prdt is overheating with minimal usage then there is hardware fault in ur phone...better get it replaced...otherwise its normal to heat if u use too much battery intensive works on ur phone...& it is a mid range phone plz dont think its an iphone...midrange phones has its own issues
Since moto g3 provides almost stock android experience... battery consumption is very minimal compared to other android smartphones at this pricerange...it lasts morethan 1& half days...if u use very little amount of time...for midrange users it lasts abt 15-22 hrs depending on the amount of screen on time & usage...& if u r a heavy user it wont last morethan 7-9 hrs ..so i think eventhough it contains only 2450 mAh battery still it performs better than smartphones which provides 2900-3000mAh battery at this pricerange...
i'm using moto g3 for last 13 days & in my opinion moto g3 is best for its pricerange...plz dont compare it with highend smartphones...

2)now abt sound quality...sound quality is good for a midrange phone like this&...its a single speaker dont expect it to provide surround effects...if u want to get good effects better use headphones
