Had mine for 5 years now. Still works well, even the battery.
It only lacks a fingerprint sensor.
Have been looking around for an upgrade with fingerprint sensor, but all the alternatives are either to large, fragile (glass back etc) or discontinued from the market (not that GsmArena has noticed).

I too have this phone and my old battery is beyond saving. I'd like to revive my old baby with a state of the art battery pack. You mention a "MotoMod battery", but I can't find anything on that with google. Where can I get such a battery, where can I find specs etc.? Could you provide me with a link or a hint where to find this battery you're talking about? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Love this little beast. Added a MotoMod battery with Qi charging, so no cables. Even with several apps for work going all day, I can get 2 days out of the batteries.

Still using this phone as my daily device! Nowadays they don't make anything like they used to. Not just Motorola. Every phone company out there.

This had a nice feel to the hand. Curved with a rubberized-ish back panel. None of this modern glass-cover nonsense. It was easy to hold, it was durable and powerful enough. I liked it.

I guess the bad influences of Lenovo already manifested in this phone. That‘s also visible by the fact that it only got 1 major software update.

Custom rom for Android 11 available for this device. Will extend its use for another year.
Though nearly 5 years old, it works great with custom rom. I am using it as my secondary phone.
