Anonymous, 04 Jul 2016How many of you having app issues since 6.01 updateWell my Moto G 3rd(gen with 2gb ram) is getting heated up even if i play 720 music videos or some medium graphics game with NO data or wifi or other apps running in the background....what could be the reason ..and the solution of course...please anyone....
Got this phone 6 months ago. Beautifully designed, neatly packaged, crisp graphics... It's absolute hell, do not purchase! It lags, it overheats, and overall gives a very unpleasant user experience. I shouldn't have to fight my phone with 2-5 second lag just to take a picture or send a text.
Please, please, please! Do NOT waste your money on this piece of garbage phone! It worked great for the first few weeks I had it. Then, it all went down hill. Battery drains while not in use, and no background apps running. And it drains FAST. I will have it at work, charged at about 80%, and by my first break, about 2 hours into my shift it will be down to about 50%. Usually dead by the end of my 8 hour shift. And I am most definitely not using it while at work, as I work in a retail pharmacy and we are not allowed to have our phones on the floor.
Phone also overheats while not in use. Apps crash constantly. Keyboard very often disappears while typing. (Actually just happened twice while typing that sentence). Takes about 45 minutes for it to turn on after the battery has died. (Says something about optimizing apps while booting up.)
I have contacted Motorola about these issues, I have factory reset my device, so now they want me to send it to them for repair. This phone is 6 months old. I shouldn't have to send it for repair after such a short period of time. Oh, and the charger that came with the phone has stopped working. 6 months in.
I am not going to waste my time sending it in for repair. Instead, I will be switching back to Samsung.
purchased the Moto G (3 gen) and it would not accept a SIMS card from T-Mobile or Verizon. I just want to return this cellphone and not hear about it again...
SIDHU, 09 Jul 2016it is a very good phoneYes,it is a good phone but why it is not in stores
If you are planning to but this phone, my humble advise is don't even think of buying it.
ever since i got this phone i have multiple issues, the camera quality is not up to the mark, battery backup is worst, my phone is just 6 months old and the battery stays for an hour if iam using it with very less applications as well. there are many bugs in this phones. sometimes its behave very weird it automatically changes the options, which i am really concerned about and its not detecting memory card even after the phone was reset. they just sold me a lemon
Moto is not upto mark...
what all you see in specification will satisfy while reading but not while using...
It get heated now and then
you have to compromise with front camera..
speakers will not work in water...
and may happen that speaker stop responding for some days..
Battery backup is poor
music player troubles alot..
doesn't support heavy and some normal apps and application stop working in between.
and it will be better to donate hands free came with smartphone rather than using...
touch is nice..
nice grip but phone is not light weight
rear camera is too good..
moto has limited service centres
according to me Samsung is better than moto in terms of NETWORK , not in functioning..
Overall after purchasing you have to convince yourself that you made correct choice but you won't be accepting the fact...

Hi all! I have a question (if anybody can help me with it). What phone is better: the G4 Beat, the G4 Stylus, the Moto G3 (1GB Ram version) or the Sony A4 Aqua??
I need a phone with a good camera, (if it's possible) good battery performance and fast touch input (I'm currently using an old Motorola Defy+ and the lag in the input of letters (touch) on Whatsapp or sending text is abysmal :( ).
Thanks a lot for any answer!
(BTW, all of the phones have the same price in my country so that's why I have this doubt)
Very bad service you will get at service center
thik 100 times before you by moto g
Not a very good phone because I first got he phone but had to send it back within 2 weeks because the headphone jack broke. It was perfect for around 2 months but then didn't function properly for around 2 weeks and so I factory reset it and I have had to do this 2 more times but now the home button the options at the top of the screen don't work it will not let me sender phone calls but I can make them it also restricts me from receiving text messages but I can send them
No Gyro sensor makes this phone a huge letdown when cool stuff like google cardboard and VR are around, Pokemon Go wont work either :(
