khemkaran, 29 Jul 2015Oh come on....did you ever use any of motorolla phone???
This is the way better than any midr... more1. No compass (unfortunately)
2. No Gyro Sensor
3. No stereo speaker
4. Low display pixel
5. Ugly design, as usually just like any cheap moto phone
6. Low processor, I mean moto e 2nd the cheapest series of moto already had it so why them still using it in G Series -_-!
With all this specifications it feels very similar to its predecessor, not much has changed. I'm very really dissapointed :(
And it cost 203 USD for 2 GB version, it should be lower!
OnePlus One is a good one but I don't like BIG phone, 5 inch is best size.
I don't get it why people want big screen on their phone, it's hard to using it and it didn't fit in pocket.
I'm wasting my time for waiting this phone :(
gaurav bigg, 29 Jul 2015From last two years Since 2013 Motorola's Moto G is continuing to write history.Along with gre... moreYe right....... The phone is a poor spec and offers little over the orginal 2013 moto g. The chipset and processor is a very minor upgrade over the original moto g . It is water proof and has better cameras but who cares? I want a phone that is fast and doesn't lag. In terms of performance its a tiny upgrade. In terms of cameras I don't really care about a cheap 13mp camera sensor they stuck on the back. Water resistant I don't care about since I'm too careful handling phones and wouldn't take any chance putting it in water so that feature is useless to 99 percent of people. The only good thing about this phone is the 2gb ram option. GPU is crap, 720p screen is low end these days so I guess for a low end phone like this its ok.
Can sombody tell me how the sound quality?
Is it louder ring like moto g1 or very low?
From last two years Since 2013 Motorola's Moto G is continuing to write history.Along with great spec. and genuinely a great price. With Moto G 3 gen. it's going to prove Motorola's clear vision towards their consumer to provide a solid performance at very resonable price bracket. The most important in terms of hardware, is the IPx7 certification, which makes the handset capable of surviving after being submerged in up to 1m of water for up to 30 minutes.
Moto G will always be the all time favourite mid range smartphone.Go and grab it.Nodoubt it the best choice in all aspect.
ASh, 29 Jul 2015I remember when MOTO G 1St Gen was out first time, it was out of stock within 5 minutes. But f... moreYes. It proves this generation is disaster. Also SD 64 bit SoC does not have in built e-compass and may be to reduce cost top companies are not additionally spending peny to add this future. I found that top companies are reducing cost by anyway like not providing support of ecompass or gorilla glass protection or battery capacity. So whenever you find phone with affordable cost just check all the futures!!!!!
Anonymous, 29 Jul 2015Should I go for Moto G 3rd gen or Mi4i?Go with 2gen
the iphone 6 doesn't have "full HD" either, that one thing alone shouldn't be enough to stop you from buying it. It's a BUDGET phone for a reason, if u wanted another $700 behemoth, you're looking at the wrong device from the get-go.
I will be waiting till moto g 2nd generation comes in the Indian market again. Moto G3 is a phone which is not up to my satisfaction. It has no gyro or magnetic field effect sensor and stereo speaker. without magnetic field effect sensor or gyro sensor you will not be able to run google map in full mode, you may get the location information but what way you are heading to will not be tracked. moto maker should have thought of this feature.
The Moto G is the device that redefined the idea of what is possible in the low-end price bracket. The first gen of the handset proved definitively that a budget-friendly phone can deliver solid smartphone experience without any major compromises.
Friends Moto G 3rd gen. is a mid range smartphone don't expect too much but it will definitely a good performer in all aspect. And you will depend upon it.Moto G 3rd gen. is no were close to Samsung galaxy series,HTC M series nor be compaire with Sony Z series and neither be close to Lg G4 & Lg Flex. But it will definitely be perform much much better than Samsung J5 &J7 the Lenovo A6000 plus,A 7000 Lenovo K3 Note ,Mi Note 4 G,Yureka,Yuphoria and Mi 4i and even better than Mi 4.
If you are buying a smartphone to impress others, the Moto G 3rd gen probably isn't for you because there are no standout specifications to boast about. Having said that, casually dunking your phone in a glass of water while talking to your friends would be sure to catch their attention. On a serious note, though, we are happy to see water resistance make an appearance at this price point, and it's about time this feature became standard across all smartphones.
That's not the only reason we recommend you get the Moto G 3rd gen - while the camera and battery performance are indeed at an acceptable level, we particularly liked the overall stability and experience that the smartphone offers; something we believe users at every price point deserve.
The smartphone industry has a specifications problem and the tech press must share a large part of the blame. We are living in a world that's obsessed with octa-core processors, 13-megapixel cameras, and gigabytes of RAM, but we don't spend enough time talking about the thing that really matters - how it feels to use a phone on an everyday basis.
In a bizzaro alternate reality where the iPhone 6 launch happened in India and Apple hosted a Q&A at the event, we bet the first question Tim Cook would have been asked is how the company expects to sell a flagship phone that's "just" dual core with "only" 1GB of RAM. Thankfully, most sensible people don't judge the iPhone based only on its specifications - Apple has never even officially acknowledged half of them, unlike most other manufacturers who alternate between talking about the "price to specs ratio" and the "experience" depending upon which device they are talking about and whether they are the segment leader at that point or playing catch-up.
However, when it comes to entry-level smartphones, people rarely look beyond specifications. There seems to be an expectation that the customer in this segment is someone who doesn't care about things like stability and user experience, worrying only about how good the phone's spec sheet looks.
best phone i use all moto g phones. (1,2) now using 3rd generation. You buy that phone dont think ,
