I've had my phone for over 9 months and so far I have been loving it. The phone is quick, and responsive. It's thick but with that very durable. I haven't been using a case, just a cheap screen protector; the phone still has not cracked or shattered. The Water-Proofing also works amazingly. My only complaints: Not the best camera you can get, not the best cooling I have experienced (maybe I'm too harsh on it but it's nothing GREAT), screen isn't extremely responsive(works well, but it's not as light as the Samsung S4, this might be caused by my screen protector or by the special liquid on the screen to prevent water from staying on it)

Shashwat.newk1995, 13 Aug 2016hey people, i want to know something. someone told me that moto g series use google UI. so how... morePersonally speaking I can't say updates are every other day. I am currently running Android 6.0 as it's the latest update. I honestly won't be suprised if this phone gets updated to Android 7.0

I've got one that I bought off Orange as we don't get Motorola's in South Africa which is unfortunate. Already on it's 2nd Marshmallow update (6.0.1) My GF who has a Galaxy S6 only got Marshmallow last week. Ive had it for months now.

I have owned a Moto G 2nd Gen and now a 3rd Gen. At first I was impressed with the phone and thought the value was great. However, after owning the phone for 3 weeks I began to have issues with its operations. An error / warning message kept appearing on the screen explaining that there was insufficient memory and some functions may not work properly. I found this strange as I had a 32Gb memory card to which I had been storing all of my photos and videos. I had downloaded very few apps at this point and really only used the phone for texting and calls.

The main issue I have is when I review the storage on the phone it does not add up. The phone claims 4GB of memory are being used for apps, pics, videos, etc. However, when I check these areas for detailed storage amounts it never adds up. There is 2GB of lost memory space that I can not use or recover.

I contacted Motorola about the issue and they were expectedly useless. There solution was to wipe the phone and start over.

After researching a bit more I found that this is a common issue with this product. One that Motorola is certainly aware of but will not admit they have ever heard about. I contacted motorola again to discuss my findings. When I asked the representative if they had heard of this be

It lagged after a few months owning, now really bad. Want to get a new phone. It can only hold a few apps until you have to wait for respond message. Completely garbage. Keys are too close and any phone no problem this phone I feel like I have to constantly look at the letters. Waste of money

I am having sort of the same problems, as my sandisc sd card is ejecting(please reinsert your sd every few hours) since I formatted it to accept some of my apps and data( It was useless before). How do we resolve this? My phone is a Moto G 2nd gen XT1064. It has been updated to MM. How do I do the factory reset and which files will I loose.

gI am using dual sims in motog g3 , one sim showing 2g and another is showing 4g. I am regularly getting calls for first sim which shows 2g but call clarity is not good and voice braking is coming. Even i inserted 4g sim of airtel, why it is showing 2g preference only. Second sim showing 4g which i am using for data only and getting good speed.
How to get setting both the sims in 4g network.
