If u r okay with 5inch 720p display 2gb ram , 2400mah battery and old soc then go for moto g3 but as u r using redmi note 3 if u move to g3 u won't find g3 that great if u r facing some serious issues then go for g3 rest is upto u hope that helps

Go to page 2-3-4 of reviews and I m just repeating that here u might be choose brand over quality or whatever u call that .. I choose quality over brand I own 5 moto devices including x play , x style , 2 g2 sold my g turbo couple of days back and even own redmi and Le1s and these phones are better as compared to g series in term of performance and latest features like fingerprint scanner etc etc mostly people like u r crazy for brands and all that but once think practically ok .. under 15K u have g series vs Redmi note 3 , Le1s and Zuk z1 and etc I will go for these brands bcoz of the simple fact that it has better processor and end user exp is also good I can easily play heavy games in all of these devices and still x play lags while gaming now regarding fast android updates all these devices can handle 6.0 but g series can't go through comment section u will find lot of complaints regarding android 6.0 update and heating issue I hope u understand what I m trying to explain you.. I have used all these devices and then I m commenting to help users out there to not invest in these devices and suggesting them some better handsets . I m not saying moto handsets r shit but as of now these other brands perform better than moto series , and for ur kind info motorola is owned by Lenovo a chinese company now u will see improvements in moto handset go and have a look at moto g4 plus built by motorola under Lenovo u will get ur answers its a myth that Chinese complanies devices don't last long see Huawei , Xiaomi, LeEco , Oppo etc etc .. HOPE THAT HELP

Hey you can completely rely on Moto G3 using from last 9 months no lag....
no heating.............
best OS versions........
Timely updates.....
play Asphalt 8 and Morden Combat latest version, GTA also but never faced any lag even if phone memory is low.
Redmi develops crap application UI itself sucks a lot of machine power. overlay codes are childish without a single test. you keep on clearing memory again and again and it re-occupies the same or more in few seconds.
GO FOR MOTO G 3 GEN next GEN is NOT WATER PROOF

I was drunk twice & drop my phone from 2nd flr. but (Moto G 3rd Gen.) is very strong. there is no damage to this mobile. i will recommend this mobile to buy. i have used samsung, nokia, sony, micromax, etc. but this (Moto G 3rd Gen) is very good. it has each & every option. this will entertain you & you can use this for your business use. i will use motorola mobile product for lifetime.
