But experience is rather different with xiaomi and motorola. I bought motorola g8 power for my spouse. Maybe hardware is not the best of moto g8 power for that price, but clean android and ability customize privacy is good and also saves mobile data. Smooth casual experience with motorola. And now, few weeks ago I have bought redmi note 9 pro. Yes, hardware is way better, but OS has only bells and whistles and privacy customization is absence. Miui is real crap, after newest updates if you try to customize privacy and remove constant ads everywhere than UI starts lagging and even phone bricks, you have to reboot it. ..Ads ads ads & shitty bells and whistles, constant tracking and privacy violations. Some kind of horrible experience. Maybe for those who does not give a damn shit about privacy and constant annoying ads xiaomi is good option. Idk...

Crappy bloatware OS Redmi fans, stay away.please. The shitty redmi phones are sold just for one reason, cheap price. But for that, the Customers are turned as MIs advertising market and they earn their profit through that. Motorola doesn't do this.

For those practical people like me, Motorola G 5G is the most practical 5G capable entry level smartphone you can have for less money. If your case is only to get and try to have 5G connection, then you will not get wrong to have this device. In the place where I am residing now, the Motorola offers the least price.. some other competitors with almost same camera setup are pricing their devices like crazy.. In these days that people are being wise to spend their money, it is big joke if they will price their smartphone comparable to famous brand names.

Anonymous, 25 Dec 2020better go for redmi note 9 pro 5g it's cheaper and better built than this motorola Tell it to OPPO A73. Their pricing of entry level 5g phone are worst. Moto G 5g price is only half price of A73 5g. Moto G 5g has better camera set-up and it has Snapdragon chipset.

Grossly overpriced, geez you'd think they can at least give a high refresh rate LCD or 1080p AMOLED screen

Biggest downside of this phone is the Google Assistant button. If that can't be disabled then it's a big NoNo for me since it interrupts anything you might be doing such as playing games or listening to music.
