Excellent phone. Bought in 2020 and I still love it. Friends love the camera output. Performance has not deteriorate. Therefore if I have to upgrade I am likely to remain loyal to Motorola

Had this phone since launch so nearly 3 years I think, still great, pity can't upgrade the OS any further.

Just flashed to lineage Os Android 13 with mind the Gapps (google services) It's fantastic! I was comparing this phone to recent Moto G 2023 lineup. What happened to Moto? They have bumped up the price and all the specs are lower than this phone from 3 years ago. I love this one but probably am not going to purchase another Moto G unless they fix their prices and specs.

Still great. 5G is pretty fast, battery can still provide you enough power for a day ( am not a heavy user), watching videos are still satisfying. Good phone overall.

Kristian, 08 Aug 2021Im lucky to say that yesterday after renew my contract with my provider in Bulgaria- A1 Bulgar... morein DK the providers are not being truthful about the 5G channels covered, some even try to lie about it a says 5G channels is not a thing :D they providers only run the toptier phones channels for 1-2 year old models, or you have to buy a new 5G phone with the right channels.

What region/country you from? Since this phone is no longer gonna get any updates from motorola as its already EoL, try using custom rom like LineageOS & doing some tweaking to unlock all bands.

I recently started using Moto G 5G Plus for getting 5G network. But am not able to use 5g and as checked with the network provider, they told 5G is not supporting in this Mobile. Request any one to conform.

there's already official LineageOS support for this EoL phone so if anyone wants the latest Android they can install LineageOS instead.

This phone is still plenty capable for Android 12 even Android 13.... Too bad Moto os upgrades policy sucks. ☹️
