bertong putik, 15 Mar 2023till date, this phone is still working and its my niece using it.. thia is a heavy duty phone..After 9 years of heavy usage the Motorola Moto G is still working fine. However last month I got a great exchange offer on this phone and had to let it go.

I bought this phone, 16GB version, in Mar2014. I am still using it - very sturdy and awesome phone. But now battery drain is a little faster. And since it supports only 3G, mobile data network is becoming a problem. MotoG is truly worth it.
So, to go to another phone is becoming difficult, will have to though soon...

Bought this mobile in 2014 16gb variant. Phone was handy and the specs was awesome at that point of time. Even apps are working fine now. The mobile has become too much lag. Sometimes the phone tends to hang and restarts automatically. When connected to WiFi I can see phone gets slow. But has one of the best displays and battery is also good. Not using for browsing as it does support only outdated 3G. On the whole good phone.

I echo your words. Even I bought this phone on the launch. Still I depend on this phone. Inspite of Android 5 it supports all the apps till date. This piece is really heavy duty.

Bought this iconic Motorola Moto G (1st Gen) phone during launch in India. That was six years back as on 6th Feb, 2014. The phone is still working flawless. The phone has passed hands and currently used by my mother. Dual 3G sims, an hour of calls, sms & mail check & an hour of youtube. That's all she does. 10x better than any feature phones as of today.

I have this phone from 2014, some days working fine. The display glass is very delicate. It is not gorilla(or chimpanzee glass atleast). Its a cheepest glass. That is the only con in this mobile.
