I also recommend factory resetting if you're fine with that.

I have had this phone for about 5 years. It is so slow now that it has become frustrating. Sometimes it just freezes up on me. I don't know whether to get another phone or try something to speed it up. It shows that I have used 84% 10.25 GB is free. Battery is at 98% and should last for about 9 hours. Cant' think of any other reasons why it would be so slow.

It's the phone that won't quit. However he just smashed the camera lens accidentally about a week ago, and the USB C port is damaged, but still works. He's had it for about 4 1/2 years. Believe it or not, I got this phone new as a result of a mistake on behalf of Amazon.

I ordered a case for my G Power 2020 in March 2021, and recieved an entire brand new phone instead. I tried to message them about it, but no progress was made. So, here we are in 2025, with a $200-ish phone (in 2021) for about $20.

      I just bought him a Moto G Power 2025 today (June 19, 2025).

Anonymous, 17 Feb 2025What battery? Link? Mine is going badThis should be the battery you need. It says it comes with tools but I strongly suggest that you get an experienced person to do the work, if you haven't done it before.

Had this phone for over 3+ years. PROS: Battery still in great shape holds charge for days at a time. Excellent dual speakers/sound on this phone, with very good video & screen display, good WI-FI reception. Cons: Camera is decent, laggy & not as good as Samsungs or other brands in same price range. Processor is ok overall, but sometimes lags between different tasks, might be due to only 4gb ram, 6gb+ would be better. For only $50 was/is still an excellent budget phone, great option for kids or emergencies. This year 2020 of G-Power is the best one IMHO, the later years offerings were not as good for multiple reasons.

awesome phone. bought mine a few months after they launched, used it every day. still works perfectly. battery still holds up like it was brand new, and I'm often using it to play music for 10 to 12 hours a day plus texting and web browsing

I've had mine for about 3 years and I have realized that it's not the phone it's the cell service company that you are with when I first got mine I have Boost service and I guess it was maybe AT&T towers now they have sold service I guess didn't sell all contracts to the new servicer my phone would not receive calls I was not able to make calls out I was not able to text I was not able to get texts in and they said that they were working on the problem and it still has not been fixed at the beginning of this year 2024 all of a sudden the phone started working again but it's definitely not the phone it's the service towers and the providers

Format on your phone first then re format in another device as mass storage. i don't know why but it solved my issue. now I bounce between 3 different brand cards to check my security cams and edit my dashcam without issue (i use a 8 in 1 reader tool so I never have to remove my phones microsd card)

Idk why others give it such good reviews. Maybe I was just unlucky.
At its brightest setting, the screen is DARK. I basically can't use it if it is sunny outside. My old phone, released in 2018 is at least 40% brighter.

After two years it's starting to chug a bit sometimes, and the battery doesn't last all day (but I am on my phone all the time). Probably... about 75-80% of the battery life when I first got it.
