My review after using for 2 weeks (Owned an Zperia ZR for 2 years and hence comparison is with that)
Finish Look Feel - Sturdy Looks Good A wee bit Slippery
Display - Great @ this price
Rear - With same Mp 13 as Sony, i have to say this is far better indoor and outdoor
Front - 5Mp but grains in photo crop up if lighting isn't proper
Flash- Dual Tone is v v impressive ...Pitch Black interiors and still the photos come out
Processor - Lightning Fast ...3G on this is like Broadband to Dial up compared to browsing
experience in ZR...never thought processors would make a such a difference
Operation - Butter Smooth on Lollipop Itself ..Am sure it will increase with Marshmallow
No Bloatware & hence 1.2GB RAM avail vs 0.7 GB RAM of ZR
Major difference is when you try to forward a post on Whatsapp and you have
to search the contacts name...ZR would freeze, here it just lags
Battery - A major disappointment
Charging - 2 to 2.50 hours full charge with Fast Charger provided
Discharge - 10% during night say from 10 pm to morning 7-30 am. This is a major
NO NO. Moto G forums says 1% discharge per hour is normal. Come on man
Even my 2 year old ZR didn't discharge so much. Called Moto Helpdesk and they
say RUN IN SAFE MODE ELSE DISABLE ALL APPS..I told them it is like telling
a customer to buy a car and not use it as it will consume petrol....ANYONE ELSE
FACING AN ISSUE
Life - With 30 Photos, 30 minutes Wi fi, 30 minutes voice calls, data always on,
GPS OFF, Wi Fi Off, No Music, No Location it runs from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm
Sensor - No Magnetic Sensor - can't see directions. Moto how much did u save omitting
this. stupid management
Overall minus the battery and magnetic sensor for this price best in the segment. Had got a Asus Laser for my wife with 3000mAmp and hence know the comparison with latest models. Had got a Moto X Play and used for a week before returning as there was issue with Memory Slot. X Play Display, Front Camera and Battery Far Better. Only they cheat you by not giving Quick Charger in the box. You gotta buy for 3grand separately so Tubo with Quick Charger for 14 grand is a good bet
Lovmi, 01 Jan 2016which phone is best under 15k guys for long last without problems guys?? for better battery b... moreMoto g Turbo is a good phone to buy.. As I owned moto g 2014 previously.. I wanted to buy another phone again with the same budget I was about to buy this phone until I saw moto x 2014 price.. I think moto x 2014 is a better phone to buy any day.. Anonymous, 01 Jan 2016But snapdragon 801 heats like summer!!! Moto x 2014 has UHD recording too.. If you check the specifications on GSM arena and NFC, bigger AMOLED Screen, etc.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 2016But snapdragon 801 heats like summer!!! Even moto g heats up dude (I had a moto g 2014 before this with sd 400) if you use it for a prolonged period of time any phone will heat up.. And i don't think it's major issue.. It doesn't heat up much with the moto x 2014! Any task is like butter for this flagship piece!
Plz suggest me which is better among moto g turbo edition and samsung j7.
Plz suggest me
Moto x 2014 has an AMOLED screen and Android Marshmallow.. With the latest generation of The Snapdragon processors (Snapdragon 801) do go for it!
Guyz Please go for moto x 2014 Instead of this phone you will not regret it!
I m using dis phone from 1 month...camera quality is gud but should be more better as it is 3 rd gen...sound quality is pretty gud..it should be more thinner....why Motorola...a Google company..it is so famous...thn why 11 mm...it should be 6-8 mm thin..otherwise Motorola iz best...I lyk ur phones...
Hi All, Got TURBO on 24 Dec from FlipkaRT, POINTERS what i experienced in a week :
1. Built quality is good, i actually liked it.
2. Call Quality good.
3. Camera - Amazing camera , i was surprised by the clarity and sharpness of 13MP rear cam, 5 MP front is also good..Do total justice with the price tag.
4. Have all the necessary sensors.
5. Have played games BADLANDS & ASPHALT 8: Airborne and i did not got any heating issues. Having read all -ve reviews about heating and all, i still ordered it & maDE a wise decision.
6. Didn't do any water test as i dont want to test the depth of water with both feets...Its my hard earned money :)
1. The ordered black color however i recived dark blue color.. I have notified the same to flipkart & i really don't know if its the flipkart guys or its just moto as they dont check what goes inside the box.
2. Guys buy good headphones , u know what i mean :)
3. I sometimes felt as if its having problems catching wi fi signals. Lets c in the future what happens if an update can fix it.
4. The new gmail app is restricted as managing labels is a hard task, cannot put labels in front screen, it is not an issue with my windows phone and yes i mostly used my windows.
That's all folks :)
