The great phone offcourse i will get one as soon as possible in tanzania where can i get it
Shortly..."Awsome" its a great phone for Indian gamers... Its really equalent to nexus 5 but greater than nexus in many aspects.
The ammoled display with its active display feature plays a great role in battery performance... It has the perfect screen size and very small dimension which makes the phone crispy by design. It also has a decent camera which can give crunchy images and full HD videos. For the best part..it has great gaming performance which is very main for me. There is no noticable lags in any apps except Skype.. It has a small lag in Skype, like in all other high end devices.
Of course it has a dual core processor (wat about apple iphone 5s with dual core cpu ??) I.e it has two snapdragon CPU and a quad core GPU (adreno 320) with two other dedicated cores for voice recognition. It comes to be a octa core smartphone. It also has a 2 GB ram which in total gives a excellent perfomance without any lags or heating. I have used many high end devices which results in overheating well in normal usages. This phone being a full water resistant phone does not heat while usage but becomes warmer during core usages. And when we speak about voice recognition.. Its great. Google has launched its Indian English language in moto x. It gets every word which we pronounce. It has a very slim and curved design which perfectly fits in my hand. I m sure that one can buy moto x without any doudt. I ll say that it is an excellent high end smartphone for the price of 24000.

Unless you plan to keep this ph... moreYou are so wrong if you think that Moto X is a bad phone because the screen shattered after a tiny drop. It`s all about how "lucky" you are. You can drop a phone several times without being affected or you can drop it once from a certain distance, in a certain angle, and break it. Moto X is heavier, has smaller margins, bigger screen than Samsung Captivate, less rigidity because of this, is more likely to break so all depends on many factors.
All the perks are sadly forgotten when your screen will break. Unless you plan to keep this phone wrapped in bubble wrap 24-7, don't buy it. My 'ol samsung captivate served me well over 5 years. I've had my Moto X just over 6 months, in a case, and one tiny drop shattered the screen. Go figure. As soon as my contract is up back to Samsung I go.
Best phone ever. It's features are making me a lazy guy :P thank you Motorola for introducing Moto X
Anonymous, 15 Jul 2014I don't get why people complaining about the camera. I have never seen something like this before! But yes, if you keep trying then suddenly a surprisingly good shot will come. The problem with the camera of X is it's inconsistency.
PS : Just outta curiosity, are you on 4.4.3?
tarun, 14 Jul 2014hi is there any lag on the moto x after many years does it get slow and later does it become l... morei am using XT1053 since December. Currently, running Stock 4.4.3 rooted. Stock kernel. it is butter smooth. Battery life is also good. i use Greenify
I don't get why people complaining about the camera. I think its spot on with Super accurate colors compared to other phones. Other phones have heavily saturated colors. The only problem is dark lighting, but dark lighting is always tricky to get right.
tarun, 14 Jul 2014hi is there any lag on the moto x after many years does it get slow and later does it become l... moreI don't get any lag from the phone at all. It really depends on how u use it though. If you bloat your phone with widgets and live wallpapers it will drain it and slow down considerably. If you keep it simple. You definitely won't have a problem with this phone. The only app that runs slow is Skype, but I've used Skype on other phones and its slow on there too.
hi is there any lag on the moto x after many years does it get slow and later does it become like u have to change the phone
Moto 1, 06 Jul 2014I came from Myanmar Please help me , i want Moto X so much , i haved waited it's price reduce... moreHi. i am a burmese who is using Moto X XT1053 since December 2013. it is very good phone.
Used this since 2008 and still feels new, started with android cupcake and now on kitkat 4.4.4. Kudos to motorola for continuing the updates.
gourav, 12 Jul 2014dude,its banned in germany..bcoz of stealing a patent designed by another manufacturer..n yes ... moreWho cares? It's still available in India, and it's a darn good product, that's what matters. I have no interest about what goes on in a different country.
Simon Martin, 12 Jul 2014Don't be fooled by Dual core processor complaints of others, Here's what you need to know.
... moreNo, it's Dual Core. All the phones have Octa core CPU if your points are to be taken.
Moto X does have a Dual Core CPU.
dude, its banned in germany..bcoz of stealing a patent designed by another manufacturer..n yes its uses a operating system designed by google.. N that to by paying google for using that.
Don't be fooled by Dual core processor complaints of others, Here's what you need to know.
The moto X was not designed like others. It was all about a decent phone with excellent performance over countless meaningless sub standard features.
Coming to the processor. Yes it has a Dual core processor but that's not where the story ends.
1 It has a 2 core Snapdragon S4 CPU for general usage of the phone
2 It has a 4 core Adreno 320 GPU for performance gaming etc
3 It has 1 core For dedicated contextual computing and gesture recognition making it more fluid
4 It has 1 core especially for natural language processing making it more likely to understand any form of speech input
That's a total of 8 cores all managed by Motorola X8 computing system. A dedicated core for each of the specific function means an enhanced battery life and optimization of usage. So in reality it's Octa-Core but since you don't need all of them running together at all times their functions have been segregated.
Another complaint made by people is about Active display. Yes you can grab an app for that but here's what you should know. Moto X uses AMOLED display which unlike IPS display does not use the entire screen while using active display. So if you use active display on IPS LCD it will drain your battery. On Moto X it only uses the part that's enough for showing notifications and thus you won't be running to charge it every few hours.
In my opinion Motorola is giving a phone that boasts of performance and near Vanilla Android experience instead of adding stuff that doesn't matter. Also 720p was deliberate to further enhance performance and improve battery life and you'll hardly notice any difference.
