battery life is totally crappy, its 10mm thick n they cnt afford to put in a bigger battery into it, if its 7mm thick then yeah they can be forgiven for putting a small battery
but 5.2 inch full hd display and a 2300mah battery?? dis phone's battery life is even worse than nexus 5, which hav a terrible battery life as well

Whose idea was it to chose to make an expensive phone look ordinary!!? I am generally on WIFI through the day and at 4 pm I have to look for my charger... what harm in putting a 4000 mAH battery!? Fast, multi-tasking works like a charm. I work for IBM, and all those heavy apps from Time Sheets to Lotus Notes run 'without' any lag whatsoever. I don't think I like the sound though... nowhere near Sony T2 (much cheaper). Besides, read this carefully, the phone built quality LOOKS FRAGILE! I am buying a case and will risk making an ordinary looking phone look uglier... will try not to drop this one until I get that case...
Anonymous, 25 Sep 2014Battery should be more powerful. listen here kid. according to motorola battery lasts 24hrs, mixed use. and turbo charge that gives 8 hrs battery life in 15 mins of charging. learn the good features before u talk
so basically moto X is a phone with poor battery, no sd card, sub-standard camera, ugly looks and build and yes! voice controls. I agree its a cool feature, but you cant sell such an expensive phone for simply voice-control feature.
Hey guys, for sure the Sony Xperia Z2 and Z3 are much better hands-on and in specifications...Motorola has stopped the use of memory cards...
its available in flipkart cost ($558)it only have 3G?!!!
an flagship doesn't have LTE connectivity??!!!
Its a copy of nexus 5. Dont buy it. Instead buy a 32gb Nexus 5. You will get it cheaper than this Moto X.
You know, for a company that gave us the Razr Maxx..this battery is decidedly sh@tty...
What would be an excellent accessory for this phone is a small supercapacitor that would attach to the phone, designed for maximum quick charge amperage to charge the 2300mAh battery to 80 percent.
I think the external perimeter antenna, and the 4 microphone noise reduction system offer a unique value among the android phones available today. These features deserve to be included when comparing phones for form, function, and value.
Yuva, 23 Sep 2014The phone is good and better than previous version of Moto, but the latest phones lacks in one... moreMan, I am not sure where you got the information that Motorola phones are not getting big batteries. 2012 version of RAZR HD MAXX, 2013 versions of Droid Ultra MAXX all came with big batteries (2 times of regular phone versions). However, if you are looking on a motoX line you are right. These are locked to only one version of the battery.
The phone is good and better than previous version of Moto, but the latest phones lacks in one thing, which I find a biggest issue according to me "BATTERY". I am a Moto user got 2 phones Milestone XT720 & Razr Maxx XT910 (Titanium Ediition), and I my razr maxx battery capcity is 3300Mah, which I couldnt find in latest upcoming Moto Phones. So Before buy this kinds of latest phone, must think and consider about Battery capacity. Motorola Company need to work on it to boost and use more capacity batteries.
I have heard plenty of complaints about reliability issues with Motorola. If Google is developing the 2014 Nexus phone with Motorola, they need to pay a lot of atention to this. Google customers want a reliable, durable, fucntional and clever piece of tech, not something unreliable.
