Android phone makers usually promise one major Android update for each handset. The iPhone 4s has received four major iOS updates since its launch 2011. I doubt there is any Android phone in the market that was made in 2011 that is running the latest version of the OS, which could bring in a host of new features and be a new lease of life to an old phone.
Sometimes important security fixes also are a part of newer updates, which will be hard for Android users to get.
Unlike Moto devices will get next two major Android update after it's releasing date.Nexus device will also get timely update.Other than Moto And Nexus such update only possible only in High end flagship smartphone like Galaxy S series,Sony Xperia Z series and Lg G series and Flex and HTC M series only.Samsung J7 will not get coming major update of Android,but Moto devices will definitely get update advantage.

Like Yureka, Micromax Knight 2, Xolo Black..etc... moreHow could you compare Yureka,Micromax Kinght 2 & Xolo brand with Motorola.Moto devices is way ahead in front of these brand.Smartphone not comprises only Snapdragon processesor and Adrino GPU only there something more in it.You compare Yu Yureka Micromax and Xolo but you don't know Moto G 3rd gen performance is much much better than Yu Yureka,Micromax Knight 2 & Xolo.Moto G 3rd gen having Snapdragon 410 processesor only but is much capable Smartphone under 15K.It easly outperform all these Yureka ,Micromax Knight 2 & Xolo.And I am not telling any thing wrong all these Smartphone after 7 to 8 month will cry and there performance will be deteriorate but on the other hand Moto devices will perform longer.After all Motorola is the dependable brand and We can trust on it for a long period without any doubt.

I would like to know if the cast screen function is enabled? Most of the devices having android 5.0 has cast screen option as an OS functionality but it doesn't work stating that feature will be enabled in the future... Does Moto X Play also fall under the same category? If yes, is it just a software feature to be enabled in future, isn't the hardware compatibility not required?
If the option is enabled, are you able to mirror ur screen on the TV without much of a lag?

It is very good phone in terms of sepcs and performance too ..
Heating problem is very less, I feel design is just OK,other than this, It is great phone
It is having NFC, Wifi Direct and many more .. Best part is Battery and Camera as mentioned in specs .. Problem with camera is Low light snaps are not that good .. I feel, one of the best in this price range

Snapdragon 615 phones costs around Rs. 10,000. Like Yureka, Micromax Knight 2, Xolo Black..etc. This phone is not worth buying for Rs. 18500. Motorola is dumping trash in India. Adreno 405 gpu is good for playing Temple Run on high settings. Asphalt 8 lags in high settings. You can play Asphalt 8 on low settings.
