Motorola Moto X Play, 11 Jun 2017"OS Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), upgradable to 7.1.1 (Nougat)" - This phone doesn`t have Android ... moreGoogle sold the remains of Motorola to Lenovo on Jan 29 2014. The term Motorola is just a name now, not a company. Lenovo has let the users down, not Motorola.
"OS Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), upgradable to 7.1.1 (Nougat)" - This phone doesn`t have Android 7 (it supposed to come Q4 2016), no one doesn't know when will it come. Motorola has promised it over and over again, still nothing. I have lost faith in Motorola, next phone will be something else!
Some Saok testing is in process for Moto X Play and they are planning to release the N 7.1.1 for our devices.
Please wait for another 1 month in order to get the Nougat Update.

Anonymous, 03 Jun 2017Did anyone get the new update yet? No yet... :( Only rumours...
Its official on Lenovo Motorola website now. Nougut is coming for Moto x play. Gsmarena also confirmed it.
Have anyone got this update in India ?
If you have this problem i.e. you cannot change your data subscription from sim1 to sim2 (just giving the message 'blah blah blah in progress' and nothing is happening), you do not need to do any factory reset or anything else.
The solution is pretty simple.
Just do the following steps:
Go to Settings-->Go to Apps--> select 'Settings' in the Apps folder-->Click 'Storage'--> 'CLEAR DATA'.
Now you can change your data subscription again .
Hope this helps.
