I have a strange problem with my MOTO X Play. My contacts keep diminishing every now & then. every time it happens I use import contacts and import the contacts from the VCF file that I had stored. But do not know why is it happening ? Can anyone help me understand how to get over this problem ?

nitika, 20 Jan 2016Moto x play camera is poor & price is very highI hv only issue with dis fone is it's camera, if u continuesly cap/take 10-15 pics or a minute video d fone gets too hot to hold in hand. Wat to do don't know. Today I M updating my fone with marshmallow lets see........

After the latest software update, moto x play started playing up and after 2 days it was not charging for more than 3%...hardly been three months m having this phone...have submitted the phone to service center, the service center guy says the mother board has crashed and will take 1 months time to fix the issue and at the same time no one from flipkart is even bothered to help...poor cust service both from flipkart and motorola...really sad...don't buy this phone..!!

I just bought this phone around a week back, Everything is satisfactory apart from a few occasional lags. One thing that's constantly bugging me is the prominent stutter whenever i scroll down fast through the recent calls list and it's really annoying. But I'm not sure if everyone is facing the same problem or is it just inconsistency in my particular product.
Any comments?

Hi friends my moto x play is not getting marshmallow 6.0 and i bought it from flipkart India my phone is currently working on lollipop 5.1.1, i checked manually for system update it showing as your system is up to date.
what should i do to get marshmallow 6.0 ?

AnonD-452232, 19 Jan 2016I must confess sometimes it does heat up; but cools down quickly especially at the time of upd... moreFirst of all QS615 id not a entry level chipset... The entry level ones are thE QS210 and QS410... Also overclocking doesn't matter a lot, the software should be optimized for heating... Also if you say that the moto x play heats up, than just try to use a HTC desire 826 or 820 whichever is available... Only motorola and samsung are able to control the overheating of the QS615 rest all have failed...

ch3mn3y, 18 Jan 2016You don't need to as there is no real difference in battery and how it looks between 5.x and 6... moreDude, there are not any visual changes but there are internal changes... Like we can edit the permissions for any specific app etc... Nevertheless it is recommended to be on latest update for best results... If v6 is not stable. Motorola will soon release stablity updates

ch3mn3y, 18 Jan 2016For me it's comparable. I got almost 10h screen on time with 3,5 day in Lollipop and now 8,5h ... moreLol, are you using a car's battery that you got 9 hours of screen on time...? How long a phone can work continuously without the screen being turned off is said to be its screen on time... Which in case of moto x play is only 4-4.5 hrs... There's not a phone which can last upto 9hrs
