Too bad, i'm too short on money for the new Honor 9 pro announced :)
Anonymous, 16 Jun 2017That's the custom rom Please check relevant xda forum . They've gone crazy there. The ota is out for la ( latin america ) only. And I ain't from Brazil.
It's just 7.0
Nothing new from Motorola/Lenovo.

I've been loyal to the Motorola brand for years, I had a Moto X 2014, the following year the Moto X Play, and a Moto X style the year after that, but now I've jumped ship and just now purchased a Huawei Honor 8 PRO because I can't rely on Lenovo to supply a phone that they will update on a regular basis.

Ghost was maybe the last device to get lollipop among all android phones whereas it was among the first to be updated from jelly bean to kitkat (which is why i bought it). And your sec updates aren't like nexus line monthly, they are "random". Samsung was giving monthly or every other month a security update to my S5.
my X Style got maybe 3 sec update in total and last one is still from december 2016.
No problem if a company doesn't support their phone, but people and sites like GSMA need to stop praising this brand for those "invisible" updates appearing only in soak-tests and final users still getting nothing months later.
World is moving fast in mobile market so that people interested need to be correctly informed and not misled with "wrong good news" or "wishful thinking" like we can see here among posters.

If you can paste the changelog, don't hesitate but i guess it must just be "7.0" with nothing else. Lazy late update from them
Official ota rollout has begun in Brazil. I'm personally disappointed that it's not 7.1 but 7.0. Would've been a fitting farewell from Moto team in terms of ota updates to this flagship phone.
Check other forums for evidence. People who have rooted phones have already started checking how nougat works on their style/pure phones. It's a risk they're willing to take I guess.
P.S : I still cannot believe it has been released as I too believed up until now that the plan had been shelved. Still in sort of a semi-shock ;)
Please check & report back so that I can finally believe that I am in fact 'not' hallucinating, after checking for news on this for the past 5 months
Guys, there is easy way to update your phone, I just did it few days ago and it's awesome.just dl vpn and then change your server to us or Europe and then go to settings/about phone/software update/
U will surprise, good luck guys( but honestly I no have idea how's Android 7 is good or have bugs but now everything still fine)
girish, 13 Jun 2017I just want to know..why Motorola/Lenevo delaying the Nougat update for moto x style? Are they... moreLenovo are not interested in updating a phone they never manufactured, all they are interested in is you buying one the new phones that they make now. Draw your own conclusions.
Dear GSM arena !
Lenovo abandoned this great device. Seems like Nougat update plan has been shelved. If you want nougat upgrade then buy Moto Z series, No more support for Moto X pure edition says Lenovo.
girish, 13 Jun 2017I just want to know..why Motorola/Lenevo delaying the Nougat update for moto x style? Are they... moreI can only think it's intentionally... There's no other reason for the delay. They never intended on spending the money or resources for Nougat on the motoxPE. They just give the same bullsh$t answer on social media... I won't buy Motorola or Lenovo products for the rest of my life... Guaranteed... Fyou Moto hello Google Pixel 2!
