Excellent basic phone for those who talk but don't text! Can read screen from any angle even in bright sunlight. I don't waste my time playing games because there are none and there is very little to configure. Auto key lock is great - some of our more expensive phones don't have that. Easy to keep clean. Cheap and easy to use once you get used to the different way it works.

this mobile costs around USD.29/- and a low end nokia with full features costs around USD.36/- the difference is only USD.7/- i dont see to waste money on a non-featured F3 for nothing. i would prefer nokia for that matter. i used F3 and didnt like a bit.

F3 is best in its price range.
If u want a camera, mp3, memory card, bluetooth, wifi, big screen, then just buy N95. Compare the price 25$ vs 650$.

I just bought this phone (pay as you go) for £14.99 in the UK.

It is just what I wanted - a phone (and only a phone) that I can call/receive.

I just wanted a phone, and this is perfect.

10/10

I dont know what the F stands for but is it Motorola's way of abusing people. Spend a few dollars more for a "phone". Thankfully the phone has been recalled. Motorola has other good phones though.

I recently purchased this phone and it does exactly what it's advertised to do. I suddenly have a little message indicator appearing on the screen in the top right corner and cannot find anything in the user manual to tell me how to access the message or delete the message indicator. Anyone got a solution?

as a basic cell phone, this is awesome. as a portable multifunctional communications/entertainment, it's lacking. fits 6 characters on one line at a time, can't do email, take pics, listen to music. personally, that's fine by me. as i said, it serves the purpose just fine.

It is a good phone but its target market is not the US. This phone is targeted to the developing countries (more than 4 billion - 60% of the world popullation). This will give more revenue that Motorola Q9h

This phone is cheaper than a digital watch. now can you talk on a digital watch.. no you cant. Look at the plus side of it.
---its cheap.
---great signal
--- excellent battery life.
---super slim
--- excellent voice clarity.
if those fashion concious people out there were looking for a colour screen mp3 player etc.. for around a £10.. they need to really dig deeper in their pockets.
this does what it says on the box.
