Nexus smartphones are officially announced in october and released in november's. this is a past trend.
Bring on the 5.9inch screen, it'll only be 1.1inches smaller then my nexus 7 so I won't really need to carry both around with me.
the nexus x(6) is 5.9 inches
which just too large for some one with a small hand
but these specs are great and awesome for the nexus
Interesting on how detailed the stats are on a device that has not even been officially announced.
If true, the LTE specs are rather lame. It is a mere Category 4 where as the Galaxy 5 and Note 4 are LTE 5.
In any event, expect the price of the Nexus 6 to be ridiculously overpriced. I expect most people to look the other way and go for the Note 4 instead.
I love Nexus for its Price , Cutting edge and the Auto S/W updates. But 5.9 inch is just too much. This is a phone. And phone needs to confortably fit in our pant pockets. It is sticking out, it is just uncomfortable. I hope it is just 5.2inch and thats it. Also i am worried about Motorola making this phone. I hate the curve design.
Apart from all the fuzz about nexus 6 or X,I would like to see HTC making its successor or a new smartphone for android silver series ,if any.
They have excellent build quality and a partnership with google would make an superb smartphone. What do you guys think about that???
Mr.Giorgi, 03 Oct 2014I am a huge fan of Nexus line. but... The specs are very high and perfect, but the problem ... moreBattery life improvement is a part of Google Project Volta coming with Android L :)
Would consider 5.2 inch, definitely skip if it was 5.9 inch... Or maybe google also released it in 2 version?
it's going to rock this year.it is gonna put apple samsung xperia every new coming phablet behined in market not only because of amazing -thrilling features speed without any bull shit like hanging of phone;it is never gonna be stuck.but the most exciting thing is that it's coming with new "5.0 android" first launching in market.
good wishes to google and motorola;both
for their hot buisness of selling m.g.nexus-5 .
With new light being shed on the specs of the phone, its seems like its heading towards a phablet, which I am looking forward to. Hopefully they will release a smaller version. However looking at the alleged photos of the nexus 6/X being leaked the size of the phone looks smaller than the iphone6+ and the same size as the note 3 & 4, so not too bad.
about the benchmarks, remember almost all other companies cheat, so if it has same performance it doesn't mean its using same soc !(801)
if this is like the moto x 2014 with these specs... then i would buy it
there should be some changes as:-21 megapixels of sony exmor r cmos sensor, and with infrared port.
and with minimum budget at inr 220000-280000
Keep the thing 5 inches, I was excited to order this day 1 but that's just too big.
I am a huge fan of Nexus line. but...
The specs are very high and perfect, but the problem is that nothing is new or innovative. I mean that all these manufacturers just increase specifications but do not think about something innovative or just improving battery life, which is very important nowadays.
I think the better size of nexus 6 is 4.7 to 5.0 screen display because 80 percent of mobile users they love phone with easy to hold in one hand and answer the phone from ear to mouth in exact size. In short we need phone not phablet.
