I've never owned a Motorola phone, generally because they have been too bulky, often between 75 and 77 mm wide. They've gone to the other extreme here. Nice and narrow at 71 mm but so much so that it is too tall. A phone that is 160 mm long and I'd worry about it tipping out of my shirt pocket. A better size would have been 73 by 156.

rex, 15 May 2019What is this a joke? the phone came out today and there's already a review with a battery test... moreThey already have the phone for a certain period of time but is still under embargo, which means they are not allowed to publish anything. Same with the OnePlus 7 pro. When they do, they won’t get a review unit next time. Once the phone is officially released, the review can be published and the embargo will be lifted.

Does anyone realised all the photos showing in this review has an extremely fast shutter speed? all of them were between 1/7000 to 1/12000. this does not give sufficient light to the photos and will ruin the photos. even if this is a DSLR camera, it won't show a good result.

rex, 15 May 2019What is this a joke? the phone came out today and there's already a review with a battery test... morethey have the phone before the release to review it fully, they just must NDA to not show any material until the ban is lifted (device is released or announced)

Premium materials and an improved camera in the trade of an outdated CPU with only 4GB RAM. Is it worth? I don't know, but it costs almost the same as Z2 Force (released 2 years ago) in which has better CPU and 6 GB RAM. If keeping the same hardware capability over two years makes a device outdated, you can imagine how could we define it after a downgrade? Maybe Motorola knows better than us that improved cameras and bigger screens increase sales more than CPU and RAM, but for geeks like the most of us, this device doesnt seem to be a good choice.

No Exynos chipset since the S7 was power efficient.

Stupidly 160mm tall and poor battery life = dead on arrival.

Seems nice, but for a big mobile like this, the battery is way too small, 4000+ or no go.

Richard watarious, 14 May 2019So this phone uses Exynos that means Samsung have started selling some of their Chipset to the... moreyou seem to like exynos but still you seem "hoping it works smoothly". Why the doubt? You mad that Samsung selling its hardware? Samsung sells its Displays to nearly every company, their RAM, ROM, Antennas too...why wouldn't they sell their SOC? Samsung doesn't give a monkey's about who uses their hardware - it's all about the money...capitalism, yo...

So this phone uses Exynos that means Samsung have started selling some of their Chipset to the companies which need them. Well this chip has some of the best GPU on the market between the midrangers, coupled with Android One I hope it will work smoothly.
