The design looks amazing, but the specs are just not good enough for this price tag. It would have been fine, if the price was about 500 Euros. I bought a Samsung A80 for about 350 Euros and it is better in every single way than this Motorola - at least on paper. It is less than a quarter of the price and also has a nice “design” gag with the pop & up turn around camera, which by the way makes amazing photos. The good thing is that the beginning has been set and we will probably see more folding phones in the near future, which will have better specs and hopefully lower price tags.

I would have accepted the phone to be a little bit taller as long as it had a larger battery...

Shadocx, 31 Dec 2019So, asking for more megapixels on back camera and front camera and OIS on main camera is being... moreThis device is simply for normal users that don't care about megapixels(they don't matter that much anyways, OIS would be nice to have in tho) and powerful processor for gamers. This phone is normal every day users, that is all, simple

I'm a big fan of the razor series, however I believe the battery will let this phone down dramatically, the cameras to a lesser extent, a phone with so much promise but bound to fail, unfortunately..

Seeing the spectacular pictures of your upcoming motorola razr 2020, I have been one of the fans of this phone as i was a fan of your previous phone Motorola Razr v3 also. When Your phone Razr v3 came to the market, i could not afford it due to scarcity of money but i do not want to miss chance to have a motorola Razr 2020.But it depends on Your kind consideration to keep this phone within the affordability of a middle class family member.I would like to know that will Motorola Razr 2020 support dual sim standby and will be available to the market all over the world?

Dil, 07 Jan 2020They should have improved the battery capacity... only 2510mAhThey're trying to match the shape of the original razrs, and to do so they've had to mark the battery a bit smaller.

Anonymous, 26 Dec 2019This phone will work only with eSIM or electronic SIM and this will not work on any other carriers. This phone does NOT have the AT&T backbone bands of 12/17 or their band 14....so, this phone is capable of e-sim on those networks BUT you speed/coverage will be terrible. You'll have to the crazy expensive Verizon or wait for one of their reasonable MVNO re-sellers to add the e-sim capacity.

I think it is just a design exercise. And it looks great, you should not feel like carrying a notepad in your pocket, like it's with all +6" display smartphones.
We have just to wait for cheaper/lighter/more screen-to-body/better specs/camera/IP rating foldable phones in the future.
The first step has been made, that is the important thing.

Except of its folding capability, all others specs are scrap for this age.

Exactly the same megapixels as a Galaxy S6.
That SoC is outdated, they could have used SD 765 or even SD 730 seeing how late it's getting released.
Also display is not even 1080p, the pixels will be very noticeable if they are arranged in Diamond Pentile, only a 'gamers' will notice that too, I guess.

A nice non foldable 6.2" phone I can fit in most of my pockets no problem, why would I need this? I don't.

A galaxy fold may be interesting since I can have a mini tablet in the carrying size of a phone. That I could I find useful as sometimes a smartphone screen can be small if I am looking at something like a spreadsheet for example.

This is a fun retro phone that is cool as it is useless good for bored rich people.

Chris, 19 Dec 2019slightly worried about the folding LCD. Getting a wrinkle or slight dent on it after a year ... moreIt's a OLED not a LCD, there is a big difference FFS.
