Motorola Android Rumors

A few days ago a Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 was spotted in the Geekbench database, and we had high hopes that maybe the company would unify its naming schemes across the globe, but those hopes have been shattered by a new leak today, which calls the device Razr+ 2025 (for the North American Market) / Razr 60 Ultra (for all other markets).

Naming shenanigans aside, what we have here are the first leaked renders of the upcoming foldable smartphone, which, according to Geekbench, will finally use a proper flagship Qualcomm chipset (not the "s" version like last year).

The phone apparently has the codename Orion and is due to be launching "very, very soon". The leaked renders show a dark green colorway with fake leather on the back and a glossy metal frame. There are once again only two cameras on the "rear", which are basically surrounded by the cover display.

This seems nigh-on identical to that of the Razr+ 2024 / Razr 50 Ultra and we can't fault Motorola here, there's not really any room left to expand this screen any further. Like the previous generation, the 2025 model should let you run full Android apps on this display, unlike its competitors.

The internal folding screen will stick with the 6.9" size. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset will be paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and the battery will have 4,000 mAh capacity just like its predecessor.

Aside from the new chipset, there really doesn't seem to be a lot new here, but of course there are still details that haven't been leaked, so maybe Motorola will surprise us there.

curved outer display, better camera optimization, timely updates, bigger battery, the ability to adjust to adjust the screen size on YouTube when you open up the phone and improved durability, maybe IP68 or 69.
