Motorola Android Announcement

Today Motorola has added a new colorway to its Razr 40 Ultra (aka Razr+ in the US) and Edge 40 Neo smartphones. It's called Peach Fuzz, and is Pantone's Color of the Year 2024. Thus, Motorola is continuing its partnership with Pantone, which has over the past few years seen it release handsets in very unique hues.

Peach Fuzz is no different. It's described as "a velvety gentle peach hue", with "a cozy, tender essence that embodies feelings of togetherness, community, and collaboration". Sure, why not. The aforementioned Motorola phones are getting the Peach Fuzz in a nice vegan leather finish.

The Peach Fuzz Razr 40 Ultra and Edge 40 Neo are identical to their non-Peach Fuzz-y siblings, the only difference here is the color. The price is identical too - as seen in the US, where Motorola is already offering the Razr+ in this new color for the same $699.99 it's charging for all the others.

As I said, on every brand, you pay for both the product value and for the logo. That applies to every brand. But because this phone has less brand value than Apple or Samsung, you pay less for the logo. Is that hard to understand, bud?

Whatever other product you buy, you pay for the value of the product. But this phone you pay higher for the model name. It's not better than the other brands with this kind of phone. It doesn't have better hardware than the other ones. Yet ...

Whichever product you buy, you all pay a part of your money for the brand logo. But because Motorola doesn't have the same brand value as Samsung or Apple, you pay less for the brand logo. Get it?
