Motorola Android

Motorola's Razr 50 Ultra was certified for sale in India by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) back in April last year, and then the phone subsequently launched globally in June.

Today a new Motorola phone has been certified by BIS with the model number XT2551, and this has previously been rumored to be the Razr 60 Ultra (the model number fits - the Razr 50 Ultra was XT2451).

If this is indeed the Razr 60 Ultra, then expect it to become official earlier than its predecessor - much earlier, in fact. The BIS certification is three months ahead this time around, so the phone could be unveiled in March or April even.

That is, of course, mere speculation on our part, do keep that in mind. There are unfortunately no leaked details about the Razr 60 Ultra at this time, but since its predecessor was powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, it wouldn't surprise us at all if the Razr 60 Ultra went with that chip's successor, the Snapdragon 8s Elite.

Give me a one good reason for 4K screen on a phone except for VR applications, it's hard to tell the pixels apart even on my 1080p edge 30 ultra screen so that high resolution would just increase battery drain and price of the phone. But one are...

Exactly, while I'd love for it to be the Razr, there is no guarantee: 2024 Razr models were XT2451 and XT2453 2023 Razr models were XT2321 and XT2323
