The thing is that razr maxx is actually a normal razr (XT910) but with a increment on the battery capacity, the other resources are exactly the same, actually even when you upgrade OS it will show as XT910. so don't worry about this.
I bought box sealed Moto Razr Maxx from Banglore India. When i connected my device to system. The model shows as XT 910 is it correct? wondering why its not showing as Moto Razr Maxx. Please help me with an answer.
AnonD-60955, 13 Aug 2012where is "motorola services" located? Not sure men, as I told you I read that in another forum but wasn't my problem, my razr maxx is working same as before with GB, look in the running apps and battery usage and check if someone is working more than normal
On last weekend i bought Moto razr Maxx for Rs 31500 in B'lore india. the box was sealed and i got all the accessories. But wen i connect the mobile in system, mobile name comes as XT910 NOT Moto Razr Maxx. is it correct? please let me know. Thanks!
For those who has battery issues after upgrade to ICS, I read in another forum that some guy fix this disabling "Motorola Services" app which is suposed was sucking almost 50% of his battery, try it, Im not sure if works because I dont have this problem, the normal should be the screen use more than 50% of the battery and the rest of the apps do not use more than 10% or around that

sounds weird, because its suposed that ICS has better management of all resources as memory and battery for example. in my case doesn't change too much but is hard to really know it because the usage of mine is not the same everyday but i dont really feel that ICS is a battery killer as some said. what you can do is a wipe cache, at the beginning maybe you feel your razr a little bet slow but as soon as the cache loads again everything on this ICS format will be faster, maybe this help, i did it during the upgrade just to prevent any incompatibility.

Agree that GB does stand for Gigabyte in terms of memory, but in this context, Gingerbread would be the correct expansion of GB.
AnonD-66611, 13 Aug 2012Please my friend tell me what u mean with Never go for "ICS", "GB".GB is gingerbread. Its the software installed on the phone out of the box
Does anyone know when will Jelly Bean be available for Razr Maxx? I have u updated to ics and it rocks.
this phone was so amazing with its battery life but this should be perfect to be water resistant!!!
Super unique of its kind,, hail MOTO!!!!
AnonD-66611, 13 Aug 2012Please my friend tell me what u mean with Never go for "ICS", "GB".ICS = "Ice Cream Sandwich" is the name for the latest major update of the Android operatingsystem. Google it. Currently the latest is v4.04, with v4.1 "Jelly Bean" update comming soon. "GB" stands for Gigabyte (memory-size).
