Jake, 27 Jul 2012Can anyone tell me what is the difference between razr maxx and droid razr maxx ? TQ no diference. droid maxx is the cdma version n razr maxx is the gsm version.

i m using this phone. no probs found. this is 100% flawless phone. those who r complaining about this phone actually dont know how to use a smart phone. unsmart guys should stop using this phone.

what do u guys mean by screan heat up problem? i m using this phone for one month now and no prob found. its a great phone. every1 should buy this. battery life is awwwwweeeeeesoooomeeeee..

If you want to wait for the release of Telcel's official OTA I think that the end of the world will be first!!! jajaja just a joke.
Mmmmm I have no problem with battery life, Maybe it drop a little bit with ICS but nothing to worry.
It still have a good battery life compare with iPhones and other devices, believe me having an iPhone is so frustrating you need to charge up battery twice a day!!!
Also is important to watch out how many apps do you have open, your phone cant do everything and last all day if you have a lot of apps open during the day, wifi, data, etc.
Note: My phone with ICS... still running fine, dont worry!

there is no difference, just droid razr maxx is the official name of this device. why change? maybe because a dealer starts calling just in a short way and create the confuse to those users who look for this device in worldwide forums.

About the heat, that actually pass to me and i dont even upgrade to ICS, I think is related to the power of the chipset, look it depends of the usage of the phone, if you are running games like Modern combat 3 or similar obviously the chipset will work harder than with a regular app like facebook or calculator. In case of heat just need to let it rest for a some minutes and will be OK, or if you keep it working at some moment when reach a risk temperature it will freeze automatically to protect itself and restart. Im in Mexico and I know this happens to all the smartphones when are your apps really demands that the hardware works harder. you can also disble background data in social apps to reduce the demand to the hardware.

Everything seems fine. I never noticed that hot screen issue until your question reach reach me. It works absolutely fine with no heat up issue. I am not from India btw :-)

I have used it for a month now. Call quality is excellent (this is key reason why i put my iPhone as a secondary phone now). It is fast enough for all taks, with very little lag, compensated by animation effects. Battery justifies its fame: can use it for 2 days with 3G always on, 2.5 hours of daily phone calls, around 50 sms/ day, 1 hours of internet access...
But i still miss the simplicity of my iPhone UI. Very intuitive
P.S: i am using android ICS, officially updated OTA last week.

I usually use my phone via wifi, it is better for me because in work and in my house I have connection. So I dont know the speed via 3g, I use it very rarely.
But the few times that I used it, it was fast.
Sorry if I cant answer ypur question.
This version of OS is only for Mexico.
