I have the T-Mobile USA silver version of the V3. Bluetooth connects to everything and no disconnects with headset HS850. Volume in the handset and headset is loud (not low as perviously reported). Performance is the same as my Samsung D500 and Sony P910i. It records video. Inscurance is available for this phone on T-Mobile. So, if it breaks--who cares. Price is much lower--so it seems worth it.
I have not experienced any of the original complaints I read about in the first V3s. Maybe they were cause by an original firmware version. So, maybe the T-Mobile version has the bugs worked out.
My opinion (I could be wrong):
> Menus are better on the Samsung D500.
> Sometimes I find the sliding function on the D500 better.
> However, overall the slim size and shape of the V3 is better for me--as I don't like to use the D500 closed.
> Battery is good enough--as I charge it every night.
> I got the T-Mobile case and it sits on my belt perfectly.
> SMS and MMS messages work better with T-Mobile on the V3.
any1 noe the difference between the black v3 and silver v3??
do they haf a video camera.. i hve a silver v3 and i cant get to video record? where is it?
I have been using this phone for a long time. And the durability is really good i dont even have a scratch in my phone it has a very nice design.About the ringtones im not sure if u can erase the phones original ringtones u can delete the one that u add.
E398 does not have 850MHz for U.S. users.
fyi: you can find firmware on the web to change V3 memory to 7megs (and add a video capture function!)
For phone with mp3 support 5.5MB is not enough. I have Hellomoto E398 with 56MB Tflash card and i want more :)
Girls are so expensive, always go for the most expensive phones :)
how do u record video on a v3? how can u erase ringtones? coz i tried to mark them then delete but it doesnt work. thanks in advance!
Durability: I would like to ask all v3 owners who have had the phone for a while how it is holding out, is it scratched easily? Does it get ugly after a while? Is it fragile? Does the keypad wear out? Anything?
once for all: this phone is equal to the black edition, the same, igual, Égale, gleichgestelltes, uguale! the only difference is the colour of it and the box it cames in.
and so it has not a camara recorder! have those kids who say that already worked with one? this phone has a vga phone cam and it is not the fastest one...it's ok, but not the fastest ccd in the market.
ok, sorry for the caps but it's annoying to read all those bulls*it about this mobile! :) have a nice day!
My V3 works great bluetooth is cool and works perfectly i can send and recive pics and ringtones to my pc all mp3.Yes u can record video clips but unfortunately not for to long only 6 sec.
had this phone for 6 weeks not as good as the 6230 i use to have, my bluetooth doesnt work, camera isnt too good you have to make the subject stay still for a few mins after the shutter has made the noise as it doesnt take an instant pic, a bit disappointed with it, it looks nice but thats about it, would rather have good features
I would like to answer to your question.....
Motorola V3 (black colour) has a built in camer and you can record videos not only download.
I was just wondering, is the black razr different to the silver one? Like do they have different features for example; does the black motorola v3 have a camera that can actually take shots not just store videos etc whatnot?
The Black V3 is exactly the same as the Silver version - No video capture only video download, hope that helps seb
I dont know about Cingular they do have the Black Version of the Razor but im not sure if the video rec is in. U might as well cal them or check the website dude.
Is any one aware of when Cingular or if any other wireless CO will have the the black Razr that has the vid/cam and the voice combo ??? thanks!
Best phone I have ever owned. Design is sleek - lightweight & stylish. Easy to operate - good sized buttons & easy to understand menu options. This is my second Motorola & definitely one of their best designs so far. Ideal phone for the girls - small & compact. A highly desirable phone.
Just got the new V3 and I have to say Motorola has come a long way with the designs for their phones. I have had several problems with the bluetooth module on the phone not connecting but a simple turning off and on the phone fix the problem. I was very disappointed with the ringtones with the bluetooth headset attached. The idea to put your contacts with different ringtones is to recognize your call without seeing your phone. With the heatset attached, it only rings one ringtone. Cmon Motorola. You have to do better than this!!!
good phone, although i have had a few problems with it. i've had a few come back as elf(Early Life Falure), but everyone seems happy with it. it does come down to personal preference though.
