Joe Jackson this phone is massive, so its quite flat but when you open it up its just as big as a 3g phone its really big when you flip it open and its wide. The style its not stylish it looks to toyish it looks like a hair razor clipper. Bottom line the phone does not work or do the job like its intended.

    Joe Jackson,

Your comments are not constructive whatsoever. I know many people who have a Motorola V3 and it is certainly anything but big and bulky - it's a very stylish handset.

It's very very very slimline - in fact one of the slimmest handsets on the market. It's not got great features but this is because of the style.

I jsut bought this hunk a junk. Its so big and bulky and its like carrying a brick. With such a big phone you would it had a decent screen but its tiny. Blue tooth sucks and this phone does too.

I have just got the V3. I could send text messages but now I am unable to! I have an icon on the screen that says GPRS, is this normal? If not how do I get rid of it? Just wonerdered if anyone could help.

I dont do Motorola's and if you guys know whats good for you i suggest you follow in my foot steps. My experience with motorola phones have all been bad every motorola i've had has had charging problems right from the v66 to the last one i had a e365. They always have battery based issues whether its faulty charging or below average battery life. This one is no exception it to has poor battery life always crashes and most of all.. wait for it... "it wont charge properly" said my mate, big suprise!

Motorola's also have slow menu's and are prone to crashing and reseting this is why i'd never touch a Motorola phone. This one is just a heap of junk and has no features with poor 5MB memory my friend had it he got so fed up with it after the first 2 days of owning it that he sent it right back.

My friend bought a unlocked V3, which I told him to stay away from any Motorola. While charging one night he left it on top of a plastic case (battery side down). In the morning the plastic was melted and looked like it almost started a fire. The key pads are fried to crisp, and nothing works. My friend regrets buying the V3 and send it for repair/exchange, but the store in Hong Kong will not honor the warranty since it's out of their country! My poor friend spent all his money on the V3, I loaned him my Nokia 3390 so he has a phone.

Be careful where you place the V3 when you charge, just in case.

Hi Paige, Which network have you ordered your contract with? Because most service providers allow you return and exchange within 14 days.

Hi guys i'm expecting the black model of this phone within the next few days. I've just logged on to have a quick look and i'm gutted as it seems the phone might not be what i expected, also i've just learned it isn't compatable with video messaging.
Someone i know ordered the phone for me on my behalf (without asking which phone i'd like which has kinda anoyed me,) and now i'm just worried because it's on contract and i'm commited to it for 6 months.
                      Is it really that bad?

This is from Motorola UK - Please be advised that the V3 (Black edition) does not support video capturing. You can, however, play back 10-12 seconds of video.

This phone looks great, very good design. You can transfer Audio, video and photos to computer using either Blutooth or USB cable.good. Nice screen, very sleek and handy phone.
It alows me to access only WAP sites, not all of the websites. But the picture resolution is not good, video is also not good. V3's Camera feature is hardly of any use.

Buy this phone if you want a very stylish phone with features of a phone, not of camera and computer :) Thank you !!
