I had three V3s The sound quality was so poor that I could never understand what the person talking was saying....nor they I. I traded it in for ANOTHER Motorola Its a slider and the sound is awesome Buuuuuuuttttttttttt the 2 battries I have for it last 2-30 min! Verizon balmed me for damaging the battery by using a car charger!!???? Yet a senior Verizon tec rep (See http://blogs.computerworld.com/node/2626 )said bull...I am being sent a second phone (total now 5) and a new battery...If this keeps up then what? I must state though I am very happy with Verizons customer support.

It is an ok phone, it does the job but if your into mp3 and good camera quality then I would recommend not to go near it. It also has a very slow software and dust gets caught behind the screen. I have also had problems with the vga camera constantly coming up with capture failed when you take a pic, which can get very anoying.

It is not a good handset. The great problem is Camera. Another problem is memory.

It has third class chrome on the keypad which has been start damaging itself after few months.
It also has a design fault at screen as it grabs the dust inside the screen from the ear phone.
The software is too slow and the it do not detects over the blue tooth device in PC.

The Poorest One. I bought this bcoz this was the best looking stylish phone. I used it about 5 months. It's memory is too small. It's ribbon sometimes have prob: and the display worked out. it's battery is too weak. Once it charged it doesn't work more than 1 day. i sold it out and now i relax. Thanks God.

Nice bright large screen, very good for someone who don't take pictures on there phone or use mp3, but is very stylish and you can get them for as cheap as £44.99 new now.

it would seem some of the people posting bad comments here just dont know how to use their phones. take some time and learn all the features. i like mine. and the reception is greatly improved since my last one. i have the mini chip and i put my tones and pictures on it for the phone. and the red one is good looking too.

The best looking mobile phone ever created! I will use it as long as possible. But if you expect a vast array of functions and a good software, this is not your phone! It lacks any modern extras and even some basic functions, say, call rejecting...

Nice looking phone but useless! but then I find that with most Motorola's I've owned in the past. Never again! Dust accumulates under the larger interior screen on the V3 plus the keypad sticks as well. I've had a Nokia for the past 8 months, very happy with it, no probs at all.

my comment for this phone is totaly crap
And this is my first and my last time buy motorola product......without MPT this phone is nothing because almost all the feature useless.
Better if you buy another product.

The sound, reception and battery life is OK.
The design of the hardware is also OK.
But the software is total crap!
The menus are sluggish and it's very unresponsive when pressing the buttons. Writing SMSes and MMS is a f*cking pain in the ass!!!!

FYI This is a basic phone stop whining about memory. If you want mp3 get a mp3 player or a more luxury phone. Mp3 is for ringtone only. BASIC. 1/10 razr's have problems because of fast production and improper tests. ( they test 1 out of 100 and believe 100 of them are working ) If you have a bad battery than buy a new one for 10$. BR 50 get it from a v3i version you will get your full 7 hours of talk time and 280h standby.
If your having connect problems clean out your brain from dust and dont put magnets near your phone. If you want to get a clean strong connect on a 1 year phone go buy a antenna its 5$. FYI Camera is VGA like a webcam. If you want 1.23MP get the v3i.
AND to transfer mp3 ringtones and pictures get Motorola Phone Tools.
*Dropping and wear and tear often will kill your phone to a slow level. Its like a computer treat it well.

i have this motorola v3 now. i really love it. even it has no memory card but the style gives me plaesure. it really fits my lifestyle.
