Hello. May i know which phone is a better choice? RAZR, EVO 3D, ATRIX 2. And oh ya, I do think the GPU would be to consider for people who play games more often, however, not all games require a super GPU to run smoothly.
AnonD-38951, 12 Feb 2012samsung galaxy s2 is a lot better than razrStop sayng that Samsung galaxy SII is better than the Razr unless you have ironic evidence. If you have not used a Razr yet, stop that kind of nonsence by saying it is better than the Razr. The fact that you own the SII does not make your phone better than the others. It has to take the whole phoen into condieration as a whole rather than just saying that the mali400GPU is better than the SVG540 and the Exynos processor is faster than the TIOMAP or whatever. Other factors like the built quality, call quality, practicality, functionality, durabilty, battery life, etc. should have been taken into account in order to draw a definite conclusion becasue the phone should be looked at as a whole unit, not just individual component such as processor, GPU or camera, etc.

YOu have to compare the whole phone as a single assembled unit, not by individual componets. Also, who care about which GPU is better (Be it Mali400 or SGV540 or Adreno 220). How many people will actually use their phone to watch a 720HP video on such a small screen for a logn time. Also, majority of the cell phone users do not play games with their cell phone because they know this will suck the battery for long. Only teenagers would like to play these sort of power sucking activities woth their phones. In daily uses, under normal appliation, you will hardly see any subtle differences between different GPU equiped in any smart phones unless you are into kids activities to play high level gamings. Adult users will nto care fo rtaht too much as long as the phones function well, has no lags and run applications smooth and do waht tou want it to, then that will satisfy the goal for a smart phone.
Those who say RAZR display is better than S2 r totally ridiculous. See it for yourselves. Pen-Tile matrix way lacks of sharpness u can see the black dots all over the screen. what's the point of having qHD res if it's not even as sharp as S2 screen. It's so easy to notice straight lines with rough edges. It's Super-AMOLED is no where near S2 Super-AMOLED plus. Be it the color or the sharpness. Get real, u really know what Pen-Tile means?

What i dont like about technology monster is doing is he is trolling in our thread, claiming he is an "elite" developer and strongly stress his Galaxy S2 dominance in smartphone industry...
That irks me a lot.... no need to compare thats it....
No point in fighting about which phone is better. Everyone have their own preference. I chose the RAZR and I have to say good words. Amazing screen, fast response, great custom UI from motorola and of course nice design. Only downside I have found is that the phone is not very comfortable to hold because its too wide and thin. And if you drop it, i dont think it will survive, but im not willing to try either. All in all, its a phone with personality and great techinical specs thats very pleasant to use.
AnonD-38951, 13 Feb 2012samsung galaxy s2 is way better than razr accept that fact dude, no hard feelings just saying ... moreOkay, the SII is better for YOU as it is YOUR phone.
For me, the higher res qHD SAMOLED Advanced, HDMI, Bluetooth 4.0, dual band wi-fi, splash resistant, KEVLAR built, 1780 mAh battery powered, MotoCast, Webtop and Smart Actions-enabled Motorola RAZR is a much much better choice than my old, and your current, SII.
We get it, you like low resolution displays. You don't like much details on your screen. You like oversaturated screens with green/yellow tint. You like the feel of plastic, oh wait - probably added silicon backplate. You like using two analogue cables, instead of one digital HDMI cable, to connect both sound and image to external screen/receiver.
Good for you as that's the phone you have.
I disliked the SII . . . The RAZR however, I like a lot. Better to look at, both front, back and side. Better to hold - no need for extra silicon backplate. Better connections with HDMI connectivity. Smarter with features such as smart actions, webtop and motocast.
Keep in mind that the 320 x 240 pixels resolution has already been cut from such as facebook, google+ and so on. 800 x 480 will die out in future updates in not too long. qHD will surely live longer.
Android 4.0 ICS is headed for RAZR and will fit nicely on it's high-res screen. The SII will also receive this update at some point, but of course, this tablet derived OS will not love it on the low-res SII.

I really dont get that cpu/gpu tests. I had sensation xe and in sunspider it had results between 2400-4400 so it's weird. but moto razr in ss had below 2000, but in opera 1760 wow. browsermark the same, 76500, and on opera, wait for it 88000. so results are so wide or i have limited edition? btw i didn' delete cookies and so on.

RAZR is better. Just deal with it, and get over yourself.

This has better battery life than SII. Not very much, but it will last a little longer. Some background applications can steal a lot of resources, and cause instability.
I would recommend you to check via task manager, if there's something causing a problem.
