i had my rizr z3 for a week now, and i can say it's a bang for your buck. the interface is average and slow at times, but the built quality is nice.
the camera is decent enough but the battery life is poor. and when i had the software updates from its site, it's not really worth it. it has gone haywire before it installed the update.
i can say for an average-priced cellphone, the z3 is nice to have.
this phone is not very advanced. i have this phone and the only good thing is the looks...
i nearly screwed up the phone just to get the clock fixed...and the time still doesnt show..the software sometimes slows down i noticed for no apparent reason and its not a very user friendly phone.
The phone is really good which i m looking for it.I like the slider phones, this phone has impressed me,but i was dissapointed that it is not having FM feature.Well i m expecting Z6 can have this feature but in the sites i came to know that they are not providing this feature to Z6 & Z8 also.So plz release the slider phones with this feature also bcz the competition is compare as Sony Ericsson is releasing every phone with this feature with the latest mobiles...
I think this phone is very advanced, and is neat and efficiant, i haven't even recieved it yet:)
I think u can change the language...but aint sure aint recived my rizr yet :(
Does anyone know if I can add Chinese in the Language selection by downloading or something?

i might be getting this phone in black sometime this week. but before i get it i have a few worries...
1)is it true that there is a problem with setting the time on the phone and how do we fix it
2)can the phone just lock by itself when we close it, and have it unlocked all the time when we keep it opened? (the screen sleeping does not count)
3)i have a w810i and im selling it out for 150 and im buying the RIZR for around 220-240 brand new. should i keep my w810i? like im in canada, so everyone has it
please send replies all to my email if possible pleasepleaseplease. thank you. (firstname.lastname@example.org)
How is it as an mp3 player? I am about to go on a trip to Hawaii in the summer and I need a new phone. I want it to be small and to be a slider. I looked into the Nokia 5300 but I didn't like it. The Rizr is in my price range. Does it play MP3s well?
No I don´t think so as far as I nkow you can only get from T- mobile give the guys from motorola customer service a call they will tell you , but is oly through T mobile. For the moment!
Na i reckon when u slide it up it unlocks and when u slide down only after like a few seconds it locks and even tho its slide up will it lock after a few seconds iff ur like watching a movie n ur not doin anythin really cuz ur watching a movie?
AHH! so can u have no seconds and jus have the press the top right or left key and the * iff so that would be awsome! and with when u open it will unlock and iff u wanna lock u press the a top key then *..iff so...Wicked :P
Regarding the Keylock for the Motorola RIZR Z3. Currently owning this handset I can tell you that you can set the keylock to come on autoumaticall after a set time.
You have the choice of 2,4 or 8 seconds so once you slide the handset shut it will lock all keys within this time limit.
Unlocking the handset can be done by sliding it back open or by pressing the left soft kyey followed by the right softkey while the handset is closed.
You can also manually lock the keypad by pressing and holding * and then unlocking it as explained above.
Hope this clarified it for all of you.
