Expansys are marking this phone as discontinued.
setting mp3s as ringtones is actually easy to setup.
and yes e2 supports edge.
and as far as the price, go to ebay. price range is $250 - $300
This phone is consider quite outdated, anyway the music features is quite good.
Check out the comprehensive review http://www.mobile88.com/mobilegallery/phonereview.asp?phone=Motorola_ROKR_E2&pg=review&prodid=906&cat=3
iz E2 funtion hard to handle?..ex:hard to put mp3 song as ringtone like L7?..izit tru it cant go smooth wen listen to music n watchin' video?..
the feature is just fine.. but i think the phone design a little bit weird. too small. where's the stereo speaker? i'm not sure this phone have better sound than ROKR E1..
i heard tat when playing songs wif E2, the song is not smooth, sometimes got hang a little bit...
(if u use .mp3 format)
this phone has only one minus point its loud speaker is so soft if motorola send e2 with same e398 speaker then this phone is really rocks
i had rokr e1 now i have rokr e2 and they changed a lot in the phone i think that E2 if verry good and i cant wait for rokr E3
how many times it is declared that e2 is far better than w810i and 6233 ok
yeah, the radio will work w/o headphones.
as far as the camera, its just average. nothing really special w/ it.
but the radio and music playback is awesome.
The external speaker is softer than V3i and L7. Don't make noise on the bus use a earphone. Be considerate to the people around dude.
this seems to be a good value for money phone.its not yet available in india.i want to know about the camera quality.can anyone tell me?i want to buy a phone.which is better W810i,N6233 or MotoE2.please help?
@all user who got this cell.....plzz plzz brothers tell about its external speakers is it loud or just ok..if we compered it with...6233....or....slvr7....or if its quite how quite it is?is it like w800?plzz guide me
no you dont need the original headphones to use the radio. because unlike some of the other phones out there, E2's radio antenna is not on it's headphones. =]
Received this phone a week ago. Solid phone, good looking, lots of features! USB 2.0 (ten times faster transfers than old E1.) Many supported audio formats: MP3, WMA, AAC, Real (W810 can learn a good lesson here.) SUPERB QVGA (320x240) screen! It's just beatiful. Standar 3.5mm heasphone jack is quite convenient, and it uses cheapest memory cards available. Motorola has a winner! This phone will become a Classic.
