Depend on what you need.
I has Motorola Rokr E8 and Motorola Zine ZN5, i like that 2 Motorola mobile phone. If you looking for music phone; Motorola Rokr E8 is same like Motorola Zine ZN5. If you looking for camera phone; off course Motorola Zine ZN5 is the best.
Andy, 30 Aug 2008I think the sek750 must b faulty??
I have found se to b the best for signal lol but maybe tha... moreTo be fair, the conclusion should not be made based on my personal test alone because a phone's performance does vary due to many factors. Hardware, software, calibrations, manufacturing practice... Just a personal question: I'm looking for a phone with specs below, what could you recommend me?:
1. Don't need 3G
2. Bluetooth - Yes
3. Don't need Wifi
4. Camera 2MP or above, with or without flash
5. Memory card - preferably, can do without
6. Sturdy built, preferably metal frame
7. I like the Crystal Talk (Motorola) but brands that offer good voice clarity will do.
My initial plan in this 2 weeks is to get the E8 but there's no harm in exploring for more options.
(Note: I carry 2 phones to work, the other one is a PDA phone, ASUS P735 with 3G, used for its PDA functions and as emergency backup phone - tons of information in it)That's why I need a real GOOD PHONE. Priority is excellent sound quality, reception strength, reliability and durability.
Thanks Andy, my aim is to explore more options, won't hold you for your opinion.

andy, 30 Aug 2008Hi m8.... I have had the v8 about 6months ago..I loved mine too lol.

That's already very good for me. I'm really thinking of keeping my V8 eventhough I'll be using E8 in 2 weeks time. Actually I've just finished comparing signal strength with my wife's SE K750i by holding both phones at the same place and again the Mot V8's signal is at 5 bars, steady but the SE's fluctuated between 2 - 4 bars.
Thanks again Andy.
Ryo, 29 Aug 2008Is the FastScroll too sensitive? I heard that that's why Rokr EM30 appears...the fast scroll is okay on mine....but then again i only use mine 4 tuning in the radio lol

ks 69, 29 Aug 2008please some body tell me!!...when display of the mobile is off,is it look like its pictures or... moreI've tested this phone in a retailer's shop and when it's off, the whole phone is totally dark (black), only obvious thing you'll see is the FastScroll Wheel which stands out in the dark. That's the attractive part as when you receive a call, the E8 just comes alive - all lights up. It's the similar feeling to when you enter a Lexus car, you won't be able to see anything at the dashboard meters but the moment you start the car, the dash meters suddenly light up & appear from the dark - it's a cool feeling and give a high tech feeling too. But please, don't re-brand a Motorola to a Lexus, ha ha ha. (Just joking).
andy, 29 Aug 2008I get about four to five days out of one full charge....but thats with the screen turned down ... moreAndy,
Referring to your feedback on the E8's battery, it's really good considering 4 - 5 days usage per charge on a 970Mah battery. Yes, I agreed by minimizing brightness and it's duration, screensaver, music player usage will definitely increase battery standby time.
Have you used Motorola V8 before? I'm with V8 now, really happy with the performance overall but only the battery life is a bit short FOR ME due to my high phone usage. I'm sure for normal use it's OK. V8's with 740Mah battery. When I start my day around 8.30am, I've my bluetooth headset connected generally until I sleep at night, only occasional disconnection probably less than 1 hour in total. Due to my high phone usage (with bluetooth connected), I'll charge my V8 2 - 3 times a day in my car for 30 mins each time not bcoz it's completely drained out, bcoz I need it full when I step out of my car for high usage again. (I really don't mind replacing battery every 6 months since it'll wear out faster due to frequent charge) The reason why I ask is I just wanted to know if you've used V8 before, for example if V8 last you about one & half day, then I know what to expect from E8. I'm at the verge of getting the E8 maybe within this 2 weeks so your feedback is much appreciated. I'm now a Linux OS, CrystalTalk & Motorola lover, so other brands are out of my list.
